I was panting so hard I couldn't even believe my lungs could take it. The judge called a recess at DC until next Thursday. Gave me some time to go back home. As soon as I got on my couch, I heard Steve calling me. The avengers received word of nitro hiding out at a local bar in queens. We wanted to bring nitro in, and show him the justice he deserves after causing the Stamford explosion. I was the closest responder, next to the fantastic four. I called them off after I heard something: a faint beeping in the back of the bar, And a long monotone at the bottom of a alcoholics glass. They each had the power to level half of the city. I threw one into the river, and was about to throw the other one when the beeping intensified. I called the fantastic four to make sure the crowds were backed up, and was about to throw it into the river, when it was almost in it exploded. I took heavy damage. It really hurt. I couldn't hear for a while, it was like....well being blind. I hustled into the nearest bathroom and turned into Matt Murdock. First, a visit to avengers tower. Then, Nitro.

It was your average cab. Yellow, sleek, reeking of rat urine. Everything was normal except the driver. I gave him the address and he started driving, when all of a sudden, I felt the center of gravity in the car shift to the left. He was going around Central Park and heading back to Hell's Kitchen. "Excuse me but I don't think this is th-" he interrupted "that was stupid." I stared at him, wondering what he meant. He spoke up again at the next red light "you should have checked the source of the tip from the avengers. Do you really think that all of a sudden, nitro would turn up at a bar? In queens? It's not even a good one." I took in a long breath. Egyptian sand and a low undertone of....blood. "While you're over there trying to calculate this situation let me tell you, there aren't any bugs on me. No weapons, no bullets, no knives, nothing." It sounded like there was....3 voices? How can that be? All in one person...nah it can't be. But then it hit me: there was a clang of an Osiris medallion on the drivers chest. "Moon knight" I finally said "you're getting better at that. I hope you won't need any weapons when you let me out." He made a new directional turn: up. Up? Marc finally spoke up "I've been practicing. I'm glad someone other than me is seeing the matter that's about to unfold in the community down here" he stopped the car "come on. I'm going to show you what your fighting for." We walked for hours on end. The place we where at smelled of bird crap and roses. Of course: we are at Woodlawn. Marc Spector, also known as moon knight, was a merc shot outside of an Egyptian temple, where Osiris-Egyptian God of justice- imbedded in him the powers of moon knight. The power broke his mind and he's made it work. Many great people have been buried here. It's odd I didn't think anything of note was here. "Here" Marc hit the grave with a shovel "can you read the engraving?" I put my hands over it. "Jim.....Hammond? Is that supposed to mean something to me?" He hit the shovel in the ground "He was the original human torch. He had a nemesis who got his hands on some military documents. He found out his address, his moms name, her location the place where his two kids went to school. When Jim here went out on assignment with namor and cap, there suddenly came up 3 bodies in his army camp. There wasn't any marks, no bullets, not one scratch. Not even poison in their systems. Jim couldn't take it. He went into the fortress of red skull and made it all the way to the top. Problem was that he ran outta power before he could deliver the final blow. He turned back to human, and was shot by a squadron of hydra style cape killers. And you know what they say...'cut off one head'..." I finished the creed "'and two more will grow back.' I've heard it before Marc. Don't patronize me." Marc threw the shovel near my feet "YOU KNOW IM NOT!!! WHAT YOU'RE GONNA GO FOLLOW DENNIS DUMBASS AND GO MURDER A HELICARRIER WORTHS OF SOLDIERS? OR YOU GONNA BE A REAL LAWYER AND SEE THE PROBLEMS?!?!?" It shocked me a bit. It was the first time I've ever heard Marc-anyone of them- be angry. I readjusted my glasses. "I....I'm sorry. I just don't want anyone here to end up like Jim. I see cap come here every other Wednesday. I know he misses him. Even as much as....that one kid....who we won't mention." Winter soldier obviously. "I just have one question. What side are you on" I asked "you sympathize with the government? Or agree with 'Dennis dumbass' and are ready to fight?" He didn't move. Marc even held his breath, trying to seem like he left. He finally replied "there's been a string of murders recently signed by the night specter. If I ever find this guy, I don't care where he lands. I will bring him justice." Daredevil or not, I had to agree with him. He joked "I'll give you a ride to the tower, but I'm not going to be your personal driver." We drove through the town, rushing to the tower.

"Who gave us the tip?" Steve spun around. "What do you mean Matt?" I speed up my pace around his office "Was it from shield? HAMMER? Fbi, CIA, anything?" Steve finally stood up "no. We didn't trace the number. For all we know it was galactus giving us a prank call." I took a slower approach, walking less and less distressed. Steve's aftershave and sweat were shouting at me. "Ok...." I turned around as soon as he walked away "may I ask something? Did you know a Jim Hammond?" Steve looked into my soul. He didn't miss a beat "Yes....yes I did. He was a great soldier and the best man I knew. I visit his grave every chance I get. He always knew the importance of our lost heroes."
