4. This Place Is Death PT. 2

Holden, Axel, and Toby filled the three-hour journey with laughter, stories and just being loud with each other. They saw the scenery change from the cities and neighbourhoods to green and fields. "Great", Axel said, "No one's going to be around so we can be as loud as we want to". Holden and Toby nodded."God help us", Toby joked, "With your big mouth". This earned Toby a dead arm from Axel, which made Holden and Axel laugh. "Dick", Toby said, shoving Axel back into his bus seat. Axel shoved Toby back and they both started wrestling on their bus seats. Holden just laughed as Toby started to go red as Axel had him in a headlock. A couple of other kids watched intently as it looked like Toby was going to pass out."Dude, chill", Holden said, making Axel let go before Toby died. "I totally won that", Axel said, patting Toby on the back as he coughed. Holden nodded as he felt the bus slow down and take a right turn. They had reached their destination; Hill Highs campsite. 

 The bus continued for another mile down the dirt track the bus had turned down and pulled up. Holden looked out the window and saw they were on the edge of a lake and there were other campers here too for the weekend. "Go and claim your spots", one of the volunteers, Miss Kennedy said, "Mr Drew is running a bit late, so he will be around five". Holden, Axel, and Toby ran to a nice green patch of grass beside the fir trees which gave them shelter and began assembling the tent Toby had brought. Ten minutes later, they had the tent assembled and started pumping up their air mattresses. "Jeez", Axel said, out of breath, " I didn't think they would take this much effort to pump up". Holden laughed, "Yeah, they take the wind out of you". Toby laughed at his friend's lack of fitness. "This is why you guys shouldn't smoke", Toby laughed. Holden shook his head while Axel just lit a cigarette up while he continued to lazily pump the air mattress up. This was just the beginning of their effort.
