Toby, Axel, and Holden ended up watching Groundhog Day while eating oven pizza Toby had cooked. They watched intently as Bill Murry took a bite of a delicious-looking pink cake. "That cake looks amazing", Axel said, leaning forward to the coffee table and picking up his can of Diet Coke.Holden nodded in agreement, "I wish that bakers here was as good so I could order one".Toby rolled his eyes, "You guys are too stoned", he said, "You'd probably get diabetes off it". Holden and Axel began laughing, solidifying Toby's theory. Toby just sighed and turned back to the movie, it was getting near six and his parents would be home soon. "We better start clearing up", Toby said, getting up. Axel and Holden sighed and begrudgingly got up off the comfy, white couch. "Can we put a record on?", Axel asked, "It will get me more motivated". Toby sighed, "Sure, but nothing too loud". Axel smiled and flicked through Toby's parent's record collection. He found the self-titled,' Rage Against The Machine', album and put it on.' Bombtrack', came on and Axel started dancing. "Dude, I said nothing too loud", Toby said, smiling slightly. "You gotta feel the music", Axel said, slowly headbanging to the bassline. Toby just got on with cleaning up and Holden vacuumed. Axel tried to help but he just got in the way. The three friends were finished by, 'Bullet In The Head'."Thanks, guys". Toby said, high-fiving his friends."I better run", Axel said, "I'll be late for dinner. Catch you guys tomorrow". Holden was reluctant to leave but knew he had to get on his way home."I'll see you tomorrow also", Holden said, heading out the front door with Axel. Toby waved his friends goodbye and he then turned back inside and started packing for the camping trip.

Axel and Holden parted ways at a T-junction. Axel went straight on and Holden headed up the junction. Holden lived in a small home with three bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, a kitchen, and a dining room. It was on a bungalow and it was unkempt. Holden sighed as he headed into the home and was greeted with silence. "Nice to see you too", Holden mumbled, sitting in a tatty, brown armchair next to his sleeping dad who had some program on he wasn't watching.Holden grabbed the TV remote and flicked through all the channels, saw there was nothing good on, and switched the TV off. He headed up to his room. Holden had no intention of doing homework, so he just turned his vinyl player on and listened to his Metallica records. Holden closed his eyes and just drifted until he heard someone banging their fist on his door. Holden go up and swung the door open to see his sister, Maeve. Maeve was sixteen, had brown hair, blue eyes, and was a lot shorter than her brother, standing at 5'4. "What?", Holden asked, rubbing his eye with his thumb. "Do you have five bucks", Maeve asked, hoping her brother did. Holden turned around and saw a crumpled up five-dollar bill on his desk. He gave it to Maeve, but not before inquiring why she needed it. "Why do you need it?", Holden asked, holding it up above Maeve, where she couldn't reach."It's none of your business", Maeve said, "Just give it".Holden rolled his eyes and lowered it a bit, but it was still out of reach for Maeve."Fine", she said in an angry tone, "I need it for school supply's as I'm running for class president".Holden laughed and gave the money to his sister."That is the lamest shit", he said, still roaring with laughter.Maeve didn't expect her brother to understand, she barely called him her brother. When Maeve found out that her grandmother's jewellery was missing, she confronted Holden about it, but he lost his temper and pushed her through a glass coffee table and gave her a black eye. The way Maeve saw it, they were only related by blood, but when she was 18, she'd never talk to him again.
