Yes, I gave up on making the chapters have titles based on witty puns, so it's going to have the POV put there instead.

Annabeth

Annabeth smiled as she packed for the summer at camp, bumping hips with her girlfriend as she passed her. Serendipity, her twin and her twin's girlfriend were coming with her to the camp, and Annabeth just knew Rin was going to ADORE Sophie.

She had been staying with a nice older demigod couple who lived just an hour outside the state and another two hours to the camp, and in the process she had met her girlfriend.

Serendipity and Honor Adams had at first intrigued Annabeth, the curiosity growing when she saw that Natalie Thorne had joined the trio. Ren, Honor and Nat had some sort of secret that Annabeth (still) hadn't fully pulled out of them, but she technically hadn't said anything about demigods yet so she couldn't throw stones.

When Honor walked in with a slightly sad looking Nat, both of us wondered what was wrong.

"Nattie girl?" Ren asked, her eyes soft. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing, Ren. My eyes decided they were allergic to emotion today."

Ren pinned the brunette with a glare, until she threw her hands in the air. "Okay, I heard a song that reminded me of my sister because it was one of her favorites and the memory made me cry."

Nat didn't have a sister. There were no photos in her house, no text messages or run-ins when a sibling picked her up. No names were murmured, and she hadn't ever been pulled out of school suddenly without a reason like the flu (with a doctor's note to back it up) like she might have been to mourn if her sibling had been lost.

"Talie, can you explain? We've never heard anything about your sister before."

"My sister looked nothing like our family, but we still loved her. She was the one who found and rescued Marty. She's older than me by three years, but smarter than anybody ever.

When she was twelve, she was ready to graduate into college. She disappeared, and the whole world seemed to forget she ever existed. Even mom and dad!"

(can you guess who 'Natalie' is now?)

Annabeth knew stories like this. It would likely have been some sort of monster, maybe a deity of some sort removing her sister for a plan or something- gods, please not another war- there was no other explanation.

Ren and Honor hugged Nat tightly, and Annabeth joined.

"Thanks guys. I need to go because technically I'm not supposed to be here, but I'll see you at the bus stop tomorrow?"

Honor reached their arms out for a hug, receiving a sweet kiss from their girlfriend before Nat danced off to go home.

Smarter than anybody ever... that exaggeration would have been used for any daughter of Athena. Pushing the conspiracy theories to the back of her brain, Annabeth described the campus and the activities to the twins as they made triple sure there would be no forgotten toothbrushes or soaps.

Ren seemed excited in her own way about the UWMA ball, but there was also a lingering suspense in her face as Annabeth said goodbye and headed back for dinner.

No. Things are going to be normal and fun, we're going to have a summer like any other teenage mortal with the worst problem being the mosquitoes.

So, if you didn't look at the schedule stuff and you didn't look at the OC board at the back of the second book, here's the gist of things: Honor and Serendipity are my OCs that I made for this story. Serendipity is dating Annabeth because both are adorable, smart and deserve love!

And if you still don't know who Nat is, BE PATIENT because all will be revealed eventually
