Alex

Something was up between the counselors and Nat. Sophie, Nat, Tam and Keefe had talked, ending in a hug before splitting up to help set up the shelters.

Alex had seen tears on both girls' cheeks, but zi didn't comment on anything. It wasn't zir place, and ziey would find out what was going on when the inevitable truth-or-dare outing occurred.

The orange flags were concerning. Alex had only seen it on trees that were going to be cut down, and although ziey could come up with plenty on non-threatening reasons behind the idea, it still left a bad aftertaste in zir mouth.

Maybe the trees are sick, and in that case Maggie can heal them and save the day?

Leo ran past Alex, almost knocking zim over. That wasn't zir concern, though- the fire crackling on the boy's head was. More specifically, how two of the newbies looked shocked and the third was close to attacking the prankster.

"You didn't tell me there was ANOTHER pyrokinetic, Sophie."

"I know, and I'm sorry about that Rose. We didn't get much time to catch up."

"Rose? Her name is Nat."

"Do you know her middle name?"

"...no? But you shouldn't either."

"I know it because I gave it to her, actually."

"-yOU'RE-"

Alex cut in, holding a hand to zi- no, his- forehead. "Okay, let's all just shut up for a second and figure this out like civilized people, good gods."

"YAY! Story time!" Leo yelled, causing Jaz to almost whack him in the face. The Sunny-Death-Water trio came back from wherever they were, completing the group.

Keefe

Keefe claimed Sophie, pulling her into his lap for the oncoming conversation. Tam sat next to him, pulling the other two over so that Sophie was shared between them.

"Okay, now that we're all seated I guess it's time for our umpteenth annual 'huge secret spilling'-" Keefe joked, earning a light nudge from Tam.

Amy snorted, smiling. "I still can't believe that you two are dating my sister, much less each other. Last time I saw you, you two were practically tearing each other apart."

"This is your sister?" Honor asked, their eyes trailing to Sophie.

"Sister?" the non-elves said, looking from Amy to Sophie.

"Okay, let's do a quick recap-" Magnus said, holding his hands up. "Sophie and Nat are sisters, somehow. Does this mean you're an elf too, Nat?"

"Nope. We're not biologically related, but we still care about each other a lot."

Ren was the next to ask a question. "Elves?"

Tam nodded, and Keefe was glad that his boyfriend was going to explain. "Yes, us three are elves. And just to clear stuff up- Annabeth, Percy, Will, Nico and Leo are Greek Demigods. Jaz, Sadie and Carter are associated with Egyptian mythology. Alex and Magnus are Ennerji."

Honor nodded. "Norse heroes who have passed honorably?"

Magnus nodded, smiling slightly.

"Well, now that all of you have shared your secrets-" Ren started.

"-we might as well share ours." Honor continued.

"Honor is a magical lie detector-"

"-and Ren is able to see future possibilities."

"They're not always guaranteed-"

"-but it's still helpful."

"I'm really glad that my emo shadow doesn't talk like that with Linh."

This time, Sophie was the one to elbow Keefe.

"Now that we have all that squared away," Annabeth said, standing up before helping her girlfriend to do the same. "Let's get done with our campsite before we get called to dinner."

Pouting slightly, Keefe released Sophie so that they could go about their day, heading over to help Carter balance the large branch he was wrestling with.
