Tam is part of our group now, as well as three new people we don't know at all. One of them had a hood over their head (which made it hard to decipher emotions/gender/identity), while the other two (who looked like twins) were watching everything with awe.

Stepping into the grove was slightly shocking, because the dens were half-caved in and the large old trees they had been built around had a bright orange plastic flag wrapped around their trunks.

What's going on here?

The counselors looked troubled. Keefe was picking at the shimmery blue nail polish that was already half-disintegrated from time and other worries. Tam on the other hand, was wrapping an arm around Sophie protectively (to keep her from picking eyelashes? No- he was nervous too.).

"Let's introduce ourselves, since there are a few new faces. Who wants to start?" Sophie smiled, but Magnus felt like it was sadder than normal.

The boy spoke first, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. "I'm Honor, Rin's twin. Pronouns they/he. Specifically, when you're titling me things like brother or boyfriend are chill, but otherwise they/them/theirs is my jam."

Magnus felt horrid for mentally misgendering them, but he passed it on. At least it wasn't verbally?

Noticing that Honor looked extremely nervous, Keefe reassured them by saying "Well, we're poly and at least two thirds of our group is also some part of the Rainbow Squad-"

"As I'm sure they noticed from the fact that the Sunny Death Gays™ are practically glued at the hip." Leo teased.

"-so respecting your pronouns should be easier than-" He cut himself off and said something in the elfy language.

"Pie. The metaphor is 'easy as pie'."

"Thanks Foster! Anyways, we respect pronouns here!"

Honor smiled gratefully, and their sibling spoke up. "Serendipity, but everyone calls me Rin. She/Her pronouns and Annabeth is my girlfriend. Also, I'm the younger twin and proud of it."

"Younger twins are cool." Tam said, smiling slightly.

"Tammy boi here actually IS a twin~" Sadie said, posing dramatically.

The third person looked shocked, almost like they were putting things together. Sophie flicked her eyes to them, and after a long pause they said "Nat Thorne. She/Her. Also, Honor's girlfriend."

After going around the circle with introductions, the group broke apart to fix the dens or catch up with each other. Magnus followed Walt to survey the damage.

Nico followed Percy and Will as they slipped into the forest, his boyfriend gently leading Guppy away from the group.

"Um, Will? What's going on here? Are you going to murder me or something? Please don't murder me, that's not very-"

Nico stepped up behind Percy and wrapped his arms around the other boy. "Percy, we're not going to hurt you love."

"L-love? But Will..."

"Guppy. We're polyamorous."

"Oh, you wanted to come out? That's pretty cool, and I'll make life heck for anyone who doesn't accept you!"

He still doesn't get it?

Nico leaned forward and captured his lips in a kiss, before stepping back and letting Will take a turn.

"Oh. I understand now- guess I really am a seaweed brain, huh?"

"Majorly."

"But we love you all the more for it, Guppy."

"Is Will always this... cheesy?"

" It only gets worse, Perce, it only gets worse."

"Noted."

So IDK what this was but I wanted to get it out there UwU
