#2 happy halloween

happy halloween besties !! heres a rini story for ya 

It was the night before Halloween and the friend group was having a giant sleepover at Ashlyn's house. They were going to eat snacks and candy, watch horror movies, play games, and overall, just have a great time. It was now 7pm and everybody was beginning to arrive.

"I'm so excited!", Nini exclaims, walking through the door. Kourtney, Howie, Gina, Carlos, and Seb following.

"Tonight's gonna be so fun!", Seb grins, clapping.

"Ah you all are here!", Ashlyn squeals, bringing them into a hug.

Soon, Red comes from around the corner and greets them as well, before planting a small kiss on his girlfriend's cheek.

"Where's EJ and Ricky?", Ashlyn asks, looking towards Gina and Nini.

The two girls giggle before shrugging their shoulders.

"Your guesses are as good as ours.", Gina laughs, causing everybody else join too.

"Well, come inside and get settled while we wait for them!", Red says.

Everybody picks their bags up, following Red and Ashlyn into the living room. Blankets were laid out on the floor along with a ton of pillows. Everybody smiles and gushes about how excited they are. While everyone conversates, they hear the front door open and in comes Ricky and EJ. They walk into the living room, everybody except Nini and Gina noticing they were there.

In unison, the two boys wrap their arms around their girlfriends from behind, planting a kiss to their head. The girls turn around and their eyes light up when they see them.

"Hey! There you guys are! What took so long?", Nini asks, hugging Ricky.

"EJ was running behind, then we got stuck in traffic.", Ricky chuckles, keeping his arms around his girlfriend.

"Me?! You were the one running late, pfft.", EJ argues, making everyone laugh.

"Well...who's ready to watch horror movies all night!", Carlos shouts, raising his hands in the air.

Everybody shouts out of excitement, throwing their hands in the air. Everybody grabbed their things from their bags and one by one changed into pjs and got ready for bed. After about ten minutes, everybody was seated in their spot in the living room. Ashlyn and Red were sitting on the floor in front of the couch on blankets along with Seb, Carlos, Kourtney, and Howie. While EJ and Gina were on the couch along with Ricky and Nini. Everybody had blankets and snacks, getting cozy and deciding on a movie.

"We should watch IT!", Gina suggests.

"No! Definitely The Conjuring!", Nini argues.

"Omg yes The Conjuring!", everybody agrees.

While Ashlyn gets the movie set up, Gina playfully rolls her eyes and pouts, making Nini chuckle.

"Alright guys! Movie's starting! Get ready to be scared!!", Seb exclaims.

The lights were turned off and the movie begins to play. Nini snuggles up against Ricky, holding onto his hand. She gets scared so easily but loves horror movies. As the movie plays, there were multiple times Nini hid her face into Ricky's neck, making him chuckle, and now was one of those times. He takes his arm and wraps it around her.

"Neens, the scary part is over. You're fine.", he chuckles.

She slowly lifts her head from his neck and hesitantly looks back at the TV screen. When she sees it's truly over, she lets out a breath of relief. She looks back at her boyfriend who's still quietly laughing at her, and she takes her head off his chest, crossing her arms.

"It's not funny!", she whines.

He shakes his head, laughing, "You're cute when your scared, you know that?"

"Stop flirting and watch the movie!", Carlos loudly whispers, making everybody laugh.

The two chuckle before Nini rests her head back on Ricky's chest and takes ahold of his hand again.

{Halloween Night}

It was finally time to get ready for the party East High was holding. The students were able to dress up and there was gonna be music, food, candy, and dancing at the party. The girls were doing their make-up and hair first before they'd do their boyfriends. After a couple hours of getting ready, everybody was finished.

Carlos and Seb dressed as Buzz Lightyear and Woody. Ashlyn and Red dressed as The Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter. Kourtney and Howie dressed as Belle and the Beast. Gina and EJ dressed as Jasmine and Aladdin. And finally, Ricky and Nini were dressed as Boo and Sully from Monsters Inc.

"Ah! Everybody looks so good!", Kourtney squeals, clapping her hands.

Everybody smiles before heading out the door and into the cars. Once they arrived at East High, they got out and saw everybody else's costumes. Tonight was gonna be a fun night. They make their way inside the school gymnasium, amazed by the decorations. There was skeletons, spiders, and pumpkins scattered everywhere. There were orange and black lights. And Halloween music was playing.

"Oh my gosh! Look at this!!", Nini exclaims, looking at her boyfriend.

He smiles at her excitement and places a soft kiss on her lips. He links their hands together as the group finds a table to sit at. Once they claimed a table, everybody got up and headed to the dance floor. They began to dance and joke around as they enjoyed their night.

After hours and hours of endless dancing, everybody in the gym was seated at their table as the principal walked onto the stage.

"Happy Halloween everyone! It is now time to vote on our favorite couple costume! We all know who the nominees are. There are voting papers on your tables, when you've filled it out, place it in the bucket at your table and we'll come pick it up!", the principal speaks.

Everybody begins whispering and grabbing the papers and pens from the center of the table. The group fills their papers out and places them in the bucket. Soon after, the principal comes by and picks the bucket up. While they count votes, everybody resumes their dancing and eating.

"Alright, alright!! Time to announce our winner of the couple Halloween costume contest!", the principal says.

She takes the envelope in her hand and begins to open it. Once she reads it, she smiles and brings the microphone to her mouth.

"Ricky and Nini as Boo and Sully!!", she exclaims.

A crowd of cheers and screams come from everybody as the two get up and make their way to the stage. The principal hands the two of them Halloween themed crowns that were made from Styrofoam skulls. The two put them on and link hands, raising them in the air.

They turn towards each other and rest their foreheads together. After a couple seconds, Ricky rests his hand on her back and leans her down as he kisses her on the lips. Everybody cheers as they watch them do so. Nini giggles as they release from the kiss, and she wraps her arms around Ricky.

"I love ya Neens."

"I love ya Bowen."
