I slowly opened my eyes as the tiredness left my body and felt an empty spot next to me.
I opened my eyes completely and looked down to see an empty space in front of me that Sook hadn't recently been on.
I looked over my bed and saw her bag, which probably meant she was only gone for a short time. I sat right back on my bed and yawned once before the door wasn't thrown open.
My mother went into my room and looked at me skeptically. "And how is your wound?" she asked me in a rather disinterested voice, I was slightly hurt by that.
"It is healing well, the doctor said the stitches can be pulled tomorrow and go home earlier if this doesn't cause any problems" I said with a motivated voice.
"That's great to hear, I already got the homework from one of your classmates today and wanted to give it to you... don't think you can just leave it out" said my mother and slammed a big pile of papers on the table next to my bed.
I jumped slightly from the loud bang and looked surprised at the pile. "Did we really get that much today?" I asked skeptically and looked up at mom. "No, I have organized a few more tasks for you to catch up on because you will not be able to attend classes for the next few days" she said with a grin that scared me a bit.
"Oh... ok" I just answered and looked at the stack, mom's gaze now wandered to Sook's bag which was still next to my bed "And what is Sook doing here?" she asked, not pleased.
"She only wanted to visit me briefly, but we fell asleep and now she's gone somewhere, I don't know when she'll be back" I smiled and pointed to Sook's bag.
Without warning I got a slap in the face, surprised and shocked I looked at mom who was about to explode. "You slept with her?!" she asked in shock.
I nodded confused and grabbed my cheek, which was throbbing lightly, she just snorted and crossed her arms "I didn't raise my son like that" she continued, which confused me even more.
"We were both just exhausted it's not li-" I tried to continue, but got another blow. "I said don't contradict myself" she said angrily, now I looked at my bed, still in shock.

"Hi mom" I smiled as I sat down in front of the grave. "It's been a while since I've been here, right?" I laughed lightly and looked at the stone, the sunflowers from Chan already withered and the box was still there.
I smiled slightly "I have to throw the flowers away, they don't look so good anymore" I grabbed the flowers and put them next to me, now my gaze was fixed on the box.
I couldn't really accept that the chain had supposedly not yet been stolen, but neither did I want to look inside to confirm my theory.
"It looks like the chain is still there" I continued to smile and looked at the stone.
"You know, mom... it may only have been a few days since my last visit, but a lot has happened... I've moved, I don't live near our little cave anymore... I live with Chan now, and there's something going on at Chan too... he was attacked and is now in the hospital, but don't worry, he'll be fine! He says that he feels good so you don't have to worry... even the bullying at school stopped, for me... for Chan it starts now and I just wonder why, because of me? Since he's by my side only bad things have happened to him... maybe I'm unlucky, maybe that's why you felt bad... because I was there ".
I talked to myself about my thoughts and everything that had happened since the last visit until I didn't see it slowly getting darker. "I have to go now mom, Chan is waiting for me" I smiled and stood up with the flowers in my hand.
