𝐁.𝐂.𝐂.
"Are you serious about that now?" I asked Sook for the fifth time after she told me everything she had just discussed with Stray Kids. I was flabbergasted.
She nodded and sat down on the chair in front of my bed to be closer to me. "So... what should they do for us?" she asked me with a smile, she had high hopes for the boys.
"I don't know" I muttered, holding my chin for thought. You don't get such a situation every day, you have to be able to decide precisely.
"I got the idea that maybe the boys start going to school again, if the school finds out how they live they will probably pay for them all" Sook smiled broadly at me.
I nodded at this statement, the idea wasn't that bad after all. After Sook told me everything I didn't know why, but somehow I could forgive the boys.
Maybe it was because Sook told me? She had already forgiven them? Or I just didn't want to have any stress? I have to struggle with a few things, so it would be practical to cross Stray Kids off the list.
"I think this is the best for the boys" I smiled back at Sook, I couldn't think of anything better yet. "They are waiting downstairs, should I tell them right away?" she asked, pointing to the door behind her.
"I'll come with you" I smiled and slowly got out of bed. "Sure? It's a little further away, should I get you a wheelchair?" Sook asked worriedly while she held my arm so I could stand firmly on my feet.
I just nodded because my feet were slowly hurting just from standing and didn't want to buckle in the middle of the way. Sook left the room briefly only to come back with a wheelchair not long afterwards.
I sat up on this and looked up at Sook. "I'm so glad to have you" I said, but immediately afterwards hid my mouth in shock. I seriously said it out loud.
It was quiet for a moment until I didn't hear a laugh from Sook. "I'm glad to hear that" she smiled at me and put on shoes so that my feet wouldn't get cold before we went to the entrance.
In the elevator I looked over to Sook, she was looking straight at the screen where the floors we drove past were shown. Sook was in thought and she smiled slightly, this sight made me a little easier.
When we got to the first floor, Sook looked at me and we made brief eye contact before I started to speak. "You seem happy, you smile unintentionally... is it so much fun with me?" I asked.
Sook looked confused for the first time but then smacked me against my arm, which I held on to with a dramatic yell "Yes, it's a lot of fun to treat an injured person and to drive him around like a pensioner" she laughed.
Offended, I looked at her in shock and held my chest. "Did you just call me... a pensioner?!" I asked in shock, Sook just shook her head laughing and pushed me out of the elevator.
"No seriously, you think I'm a pensioner?" I asked further shocked and looked behind me at Sook "Yes, a pensioner with good taste in music" she laughed and looked down at me.
I pouted slightly, which made her laugh, I crossed my arms and sat down again to see the group through the glass door of the hospital entrance.
I got a bad feeling when I saw Changbin with Felix and Han with Minho.
𝐒.𝐂.
When Sook entered the hospital, I looked over at the group, they looked bored.
I looked over to Felix who was also looking at me, it had been going on between us for the last half hour. We kept eye contact for a while and then left alone for a while only to then re-establish eye contact.
