𝐁.𝐂.𝐂.

I could curse the guys for addressing my crush now that everything Sook did to me made me nervous. No matter what Sook did, I noticed the details and could feel my heart pounding.

Arrived in the kitchen she sat me at the table and looked at the kitchen "What are you going to do?" I asked interested, seeing Sook's lost stare.

"Uh... well... I..." Sook mumbled to herself which made me laugh a little, Sook looked sweet when she talked so lost. "How about I make something to eat?" I suggested and got up.

Sook looked at me in surprise. "Can you cook?" she asked surprised, whereupon I nodded "I was often alone at home when I was younger" I answered only to which Sook nodded.

I picked Sook up and put her on the kitchen island which made her look at me confused. I don't like the thought that Sook is much easier to pick up and carry than I would like.

"What was that?" Sook asked me confused, I looked at her and saw her cheeks turn a little red. I laughed lightly and went back to her. "You definitely want to watch... and at the table it doesn't work well" I grinned.

"Can you read minds?" Sook asked me skeptically and I just shrugged my shoulders before going to the fridge. I took out all of my ingredients and cooked something for both of us.

When I was done we sat down at the table and started to eat. It was quiet between us for a while while I watched Sook eat.

She looked up after a while and we made eye contact, my heart pounding again.

"Where did the bruise on your cheek come from?" Sook asked me with a blank look, the question surprised me and I looked away nervously.

How could I completely forget that I proudly presented my bruise in front of Sook. "Uh... I fell" I laughed nervously.

"How is that possible?" she asked confused, tilting her head in confusion. "Don't you know that? If you walk but you get stuck on something and fall over?" I asked her as if it were the most normal thing on earth.

"Yes, but I've never had a wound like this before" Sook said, unconvinced, pointing at my wound with her chopsticks. I laughed lightly again and just shrugged my shoulders before concentrating on eating again.

After we finished we washed the dishes and went up to my room.

"Do you still have a lot of work to do?" Sook asked me interested and looked over my table, I sat down on my chair and shook my head "No, why?".

"I would like to hear the tracks and the song we recorded" smiled Sook and sat on my bed, I smiled slightly "Give me another hour okay?" she just nodded at it.

While I was doing my assignments, Sook was busy with other things in my room. When I was done I turned around and saw Sook holding a book of mine.

Sook looked at the pages skeptically when I saw the words 'All the bright places' on the book I jumped up and tore it out of her hand. "Hey! I don't even know how he died" Sook yelled angrily and tried to grab the book again.

"Haven't you learned not to touch private things?" I asked annoyed and put the book back in its rightful place. It wasn't that I minded Sook going through my stuff, but I just didn't want her to see this book.

'All the bright places' is about a girl who learns to live through a boy who wants to die. He ends up committing suicide, which is what I want to keep Sook from.

The book is not one of my favorites because I found the boy quite annoying at the beginning, but at the end of the story I felt sorry for him and his thoughts.
