Ōkami

I sat down on the platform after the search began. No one believes me. Their faith in Dustin is too strong to believe the trutth. They all think my visions are fake. No one ever believed me, even after I saved the town numerous times. They think it's all dreams, or ways to get attention.

"Ōkami!" Someone shouted. I looked up and saw Rune running up to me. Her raven hair flew out behind her and her silver-blue eyes were desperate. "Ōkami, we need you to help us find Aithne. You can sense aura and since Aithne is Shadow, hers should be strong. Please! We have to find her!"

I jumped off the platform and phased in mid-air. I landed in front of Rune and nodded. I closed my eyes and opened my mind. Rune's aura was the strongest, since she was next to me. I extended my "sight" beyond her and searched for Aithne. As I did this, I felt the whole town waiting for me to assist them. This almost brought me to tears. I focused again. She went into the woods outside the town. We can easily catch her. I relayed that message to Rune and everyone else and I took off towards Aithne.

Dustin

We found an inn and decided to just wait until Aithne came this way. We knew she would have to come here soon, might as well wait it out. But what if she doesn't come this way? What if she completely goes around this town? What will we do then?

"Dustin, calm down. We'll find her before it's too late. I promise." Hale placed a hand on my shoulder to stop me. I've been on edge ever since Ōkami attacked Hale. His shoulder had completely healed, but I was still worried. If it's that easy to kill a Vampire, why hasn't anyone done it sooner? Are they too afraid, or do they not know?

"I know, Hale. I just can't wrap my head around the idea of Aithne killing herself. It has become my top priority to find her and stop her. Then, it's ridding this land of Zahndrik. He shall not walk this world or any world again!" I flopped onto my bed. "Only, I don't know how to stop her or how I'm gonna kill Zahndrik."

"You'll figure something out." Hale reassured.

I took a deep breath. He's right. I'll figure out some sort of plan. May it lead to victory. "And with Aithne? What if she doesn't belive me? What if she's already dead when I find her? I can't live without her! Losing a mate is hard; heartbreaking and life shattering." My mind started to fill with images of Aithne. Slit throat, cut wrists, impaled by rocks; I'm gonna end up going mad thinking of these things.

"I'm heading out." Maybe some fresh air will calm me down. Hale didn't follow. He was probably thinking that air would be good for me as well.

Once out side, I took a calming breath and began walking aimlessly. Kiosks, shops, taverns, tiny restaurants, homes, and just random alleyways were all that saw along with many different Grendrellahlians. Fairies, Nymphs, Dryads, Gnomes, everything all in one area. The only ones missing were Shadow folks and Wolf People. Shadow people rarely ever leave their forest and Wolves hardly leave Wolf Bay for fear it would be taken over by the Vampires.

I kept walking with no real destination. Just like I like it. Walking with a point yet walking with no point. It's so relaxing.

A howl sounded not far from the edge of town. Well, it was relaxing. That almost sounded like Ōkami. More howls rang after his. Did the whole village leave? Surely a few would stay with it, but I heard each and every individual howl of every Wolf. Why would they all just abandon the village like this?
