My son had died before I gave him life. I had a miscarriage and I believe this happened when the Vampires attacked and I landed on my stomache, crushing the womb with my unborn child still inside. I buried him, mourned for a few hours, and left to find a place to stay. Many of the villagers wanted me to stay in their homes and stay with them until the Vampire mess was straightened out. I bunked at different houses, not staying at one twice in the same week.

"Would My Lady like some fruit?" and "Would My Lady like to take a hot bath?" was all I heard for months before I found out about my miscarriage. I still get attention, but I don't want it. I just stare out the window and hope Dustin made it out alright. It got to the point to where I stayed in the same room under the same house for almost a whole week without moving or sleeping; just staring.

Finally, after months of just sitting, I left the village and traveled on my own. The next village was Whispering Creek Villiage and it was only a few miles away. I would travel there, be welcomed with open arms, stay for a couple weeks then move on to the next. I'd do this cycle until I simply can't go on. I can't live without Dustin. I still hold love for him and my vow made it final. My heart shall never hold any ounce of love for anyone again.

Dustin

To this day, I still don't know how I made it out of that castle alive. All I know is that I was awoken by a burst of energy. My robe was on fire and the flames were starting to lick at my skin. I threw off the torched robe and jumped through the already broken window to the ground below. As I looked back to our room, angry yellow and orange flames danced across the sky accompanied by choking black smoke. The fire could be seem for miles in the night sky.

I left the grounds of the kingdom and searched for shelter. I had found an old shack where I stayed and let my burns heal. It took a few days for them to heal completely and a couple weeks to let the pink marks disappear.

I stuck around for months on end, watching the Vampires, seeing what I'm up against. As it turns out, there are a total of thirty-five Vampires in my castle. Any spear won't penetrate their skin; it has to be pure silver or iron. Those two metals are hard to come by, especially since I no longer live in the palace. I left for Pine Willows, the village that was only a mile away from the palace. Aithne was supposed to have come here but was taken by the Vampires so they could do who knows what to her.

It was midday by the time I made it to the village. I had found some travelers clothes on my way here from a fallen merchant. I said a quick prayer for him and went on my way. After I was fully clothed, I was able to enter the villiage. I spotted a few Fairies chatting against a tree and went up to them.

"Excuse me, ladies. Where can I find a place to rest?" I asked. They looked up at me and stared. Then one got a mischievous look to her sapphire blue eyes. "Certainly, handsome. There's always my bed at my place."

I swallowed. She was trying to seduce me with her charm. It won't work if I know she's doing it, though. "That's quite alright, but I'd rather settle for an inn. Thank you for the offer, though." The Fairy with light green skin and pink eyes gasped. "You wouldn't by any chance be King Dustin, would you?"
