Dustin
"What do you mean she's not in Riverlah?!" Hale screamed. Well, I tried to tell him, but, well, he insisted. So, here we are in Riverlah where Aithne is not.
"I meant to tell you, but the accident kind of left me without speech for a while." Which was only half true. Turms out, I had a major concussion that should have killed me. Good thing Wolf People heal incredibly fast, but I was unable to walk for a day and unable to speak for another half day. I was left without a way to tell anyone.
Hale started to pace angrily. "This is great. Who knows how long she'll stay there?!" Why is he all wokred up? Shouldn't I be the one who's supposed to be freaking out? Aren't I supposed to be pacing around in a circle, hoping she'll be alright?
"Why did you run off?" Hale asked suddenly.
"I saw Aithne." Was all I said. "She was so close. I was just about to catch her when she rounded a corner and I caused the accident. Then, well, you know the rest."
He threw up his hands. "Why didn't you tell me?! I could have gotten to her faster than you! None of this would have happened!" He's just blowing off steam. Best to just leave him alone so he can cool down.
Ōkami rested a hand on my shoulder. "Is he going to be alright?" With all of his pacing, Hale was starting to make a narrow trench in front of us.
I nodded. "He doesn't like not knowing things." The wind suddenly blew into our faces. I held my breath from Hales scent, but Ōkami took a quick breath. His eyes went wide. The sound of ripping clothes filled the air, along with a deafening howl. Ōkami was then on top of Hale, trying to bite and claw him to bits.
"Ōkami! Stop!" I tried to stop them, but got pushed away.
"Dustin! He's a Vampire! How could you trust him?!" He thought aloud. Everyone in a five meter radius heard it and paniced.
Hale was grunting from holding Ōkami at his muzzle, attempting to keep him at bay. Ōkami flailed his paws everywhere, wanting so bad to rip him apart.
"Because he saved me from the Vampires!" I shouted. "He never wanted to be a Vampire. I trust him because I see the good in him!"
Ōkami snorted and lifted his head and lunged for Hale's shoulder. His teeth pierced through and Hale let out a pain filled roar.
Wasting no time, I stripped and flew at Ōkami, phasing mid-air. I collided with him and he yelped. We rolled a few feet and I ended up on top of him. His hind feet clipped my stomach. I grimaced, but held him down, my left paw on the side of his neck.
Ōkami's tongue hung out of his half opened mouth. He was panting hard. I glared hard into his eyes. "I said, stop. No more, Ōkami. No more." I got off of Ōkami and walked over to Hale. He was breathing hard, clutching his shoulder. I whined and nudged his head.
"I'm alright, Dustin. It's already beginning to heal. Had he gone a few inches lower, he would have bit my heart, ultimately killing me. But I'm alright." I could see through his fingers, that the wound was strating to close up. Blood sat up on the surface, but didn't flow, since his heart no longer beat.
I sighed and looked to Ōkami, but he was gone.

Ōkami
I burst through bushes and ran through grass fields, running as far way from Dustin as possible. Why? Why does he trust the enemy?! Why the enemy and not his own kind?!

Aithne
Coming to Wolf Bay was a terrilbe decission. Every single Wolf Person knew me and followed me everywhere I went. I tried to leave in the middle of the night, but I forgot that most Wolf People are more active at night. I tried to leave earlier, but so many people stopped me and brought me somewhere I didn't want to go.
"Please, Queen Aithne! Try the fruit! It's always ripe and juicy! Try the rice! Always tender and moist."
Just let me go!
A distant howl sounded at the edge of town. All activity and movement stopped. Suddenly, a brown wolf streaked by, barking at everyone. To my surprise, the entire town took off after him. Whatever that was, it just got me the most easiest way out of here. I headed north to Riverlah.

Ōkami
I howled long and loud, one that would draw the others to the town square. I phased and stood on a raised platform. They came in groups of about two's and three's. Now to expose Dustin for what he really is.
"Citizens of Wolf Bay!" I called out to the crowd. "What we have hoped for has come true. King Dustin is alive!" Cheers rang out. I held up a hand and it fell quiet. "But there is a catch. The king isn't alone."
"Well, centarshit! He can be taught!" Someone shouted. "We all know Aithne is alive as well. They're obviously traveling together."
I shook my head. "No. I have seen Aithne. She thinks Dustin is dead." A collective gasp sounded.
"But, Ōkami, who is with Dustin?" A woman asked.
I growled low. "A Vampire by the name of Hale."
Silence. No one moved or said a word. A chuckle, sounded and grew to a roar of laughter. "Ōkami, you idiot. We all know you're a psychic, but this is obviously a dream. We believe that Dustin is alive, but teaming up with a Vampire?! Come on! Have some common sense." With that, the crowd slowly petered off.
I sat down on the platform and sighed. No one believes me. They don't know what happenes out side of Wolf Bay because they refuse to ever since the Vampires took over.
Suddenly, someone screamed. "Aithne is gone! Queen Aithne is gone!" And the search began.

Aithne
Roughly half way to Riverlah, I found another shack like the one in Shadow Forest. Why is there another? Did someone travel a lot and wanted to seem like they were home? Anways, I decided to stay the night to stay out of the elements. I could tell it was going to rain hard tonight so I would need shelter.
My stomach growled. I laughed at it and went to look for food. I came apon a bush full of wildberries. I filled my pockets full to the rim with berries. Satisfied, I headed back to the shack. I ate both pocket fulls before I thought about heading for bed. Once there, I thought about everything that happened today. Is Dustin really alive? Is he looking for me? Am I dreaming the whole thing and at any minute I'll wake up in Dustin's arms? Ancestors, I hope so.

My sleeping schedual has been so weid lately. I woke up to pitch black darkness. It must be the middle of the night, then. Well, I did go to sleep in the afternoon. That could affect my sleep.
Not wanting to waste time, I headed out to Riverlah. I should be there in about two and a half hours. I can take my time; no need to rush.
A wolf howl echoed. Okay, now there's a reason to rush. That was no ordanary wolf, that was a Wolf Person. I picked my pace up to a brisk jog. Should be there now in about fourty-five minutes.
I just kept jogging, not wanting them to gain on me.
I will be with Dustin; one way or another.

This seems short to me, but I hope you like it! ;)
