"So, you like cats?" I said

"Kat."

"What? Dude shows up dressed like a cat and you don't wanna know more?"

"Your suit . . . t's Vibranium?"

"The Black Panther has been the protector of Wakanda for generations. A mantle, passed from warrior to warrior. And now, because your friend murdered my father, I also wear the mantle of king." The Cat man said, but I guess his name is T'Challa.

We pulled up to the CIA facility where I assume we would all be arrested for the rest of our lives. Or at least, that's what Ross would want for our "dangerous" selves huh?

We got out of the car and were met with Ross and Sharon, in addition to hundreds of guards.

"What's gonna happen to him?" I asked Ross as I looked over at the cage they put Bucky in.

"Same thing that ought to happen to you. Psychological evaluation and extradition."

"This is Everett Ross, Deputy Task Force Commander." Sharon Added.

"What about our lawyer?"Steve interjected

"Lawyer. That's funny. See their weapons are placed in lockup. Oh, we'll write you a receipt."

Jackass.

"I better not look out the window and see anybody flying around in that." Sam said.

As we were walking out of the room I turned my back and made eye contact with Bucky and saw the pain.

"You'll be provided with an office instead of a cell. Now, do me a favor, stay in it?" Ross ended.

We kept walking until we came to the control room of the interrogation center. I knew Tony would be here and I dreaded having the father daughter "you're grounded" conversation.

Sharon led me to a soundproof room with only me and Tony. As I walked in, the look of disappointment was clear in his expression.

"Hey, you wanna see something cool? I pulled something from Dad's archives. Felt timely." Tony began. He held out 2 pens that didn't seem that special to me, "FDR signed the Lend-Lease bill with these in 1941."

"Did you bring me here for a history lesson?" I snarked back.

"That's an olive branch. Is that what you call it?" As he reached to give me a hug. I declined the hug and walked further away from him. I knew he just wanted me to sign, "I'm not saying it's impossible, but there would have to be safeguards." I said.

"Sure. Once we put out the PR fire, those documents can be amended. I'd file a motion to have you and Wanda reinstated . . ."

"Wanda? What about Wanda?"

"She's fine. She's confined to the compound, currently. Vision's keeping her company."

"Really Tony? You know Wanda doesn't deserve that."

"What? It's a 100 acres with a lap pool. It's got a screening room. There's worse ways to protect people."

"Protection? Is that how you see this? This is protection?"

"GIVE ME A BREAK! I'm doing what has to be done . . . to stave off something worse."

"Keep telling yourself that." I started, "You know I used to think you were the one person who would always understand me or never hurt me, now I'm not so sure." I finished and put the pen down and left the room with Tony and went to the room with Sam and Steve just as Bucky's interrogation begun.
