After an hour bike ride into town, I parked on the outside of the location. It looked like an old warehouse. It's rusted exterior looked like it was two floors, and all the windows were shattered, and the metal door was jimmied open. Before I walked into the building, I remembered I had my phone in my pocket. Bucky and Sam are probably tracking my phone and are going to be looking for me pretty soon, so I took the phone and threw it on the ground, shattering it and stepping on it to finish it off.

I walked into the building, and grabbed my gun with my poison bullets and held it up, ready to shoot if I needed.

The lights were off in the space. Through the shadow of the sundown I saw the outline of scaffolding outlining the sides on the building and the steel rods on the ground.

"Hello?" I called out. The echoing outlined the silence present in the room.

"Who called me here?" I shouted again.

I heard movement behind me and I turned firing a shot. It bounced off the wall, and landing on the ground.

"Show yourself now." I said a little more sternly.

"Kat, Kat Kat. How did you not know it was me." The voice said. Still hiding. I spun around looking for the voice.

"I'm here to kill you don't you know that? I made a promise to Dreykov and myself that by the end of tonight you would be dead."

It look me a second to recognize the voice, and then it hit me.

"Ryker."

He stepped out of the shadows and into the light, in his Taskmaster suit.

"Yes baby, it's me." He said flirting.

"It looks like you took the bait huh?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" I questioned, with my gun still raised at his head.

"Oh Kat. You were never the best. There was one person who you always lost to, me." He started, pacing around me in circles, "I called you here to end it once and for all, and by you coming here alone, I know I will succeed. You're desperate to prove yourself. You want to kill me alone, not for Barnes, or Sam or anyone, but you want to do it for yourself. To prove to everyone, you can beat us alone, but you won't."

"That's a lie." I said.

"You may have yourself believing that, but we were much more than student and teacher, so I'd say id taught you well in many ways."

He stopped in front of my gun, facing me head on.

"Looks like fucking your teacher hurt you rather than helped."

That comment made me fire my weapon, and I watched as the bullet ricocheted off of his helmet.

I could never beat him. At least with my bullets.

"Yanno agent Romanoff, by you coming here you leave your precious little solider all alone. Maybe he wondered out into town looking for you, or maybe he's already dead."

I snarled at him like a wild animal, ready to take my prey.

"You won't touch Bucky; I'll kill you first."

He laughed and hit the button on the back of his helmet, releasing it, and allowing me to see his face. His black hair had grown on top, with the sides shaved completely. He had one scar on the side of his face, that gave me flashbacks.

When everything went haywire, and w were separated, I went looking for him one night. Searching for the man I cared for only wanting to set him free, but when I got to him, I was the last person he wanted to see. He came at me with a knife, trying to cut me on every square inch of my body. Before he could I grabbed the knife in defense and slid it across the right side of his face, nearly taking his eye out. I ran away, and this is the firs time I have seen his face, since that night.
