I'm not sure how he did it, but was able to wipe out all of their security simply by calling F.R.I.D.A.Y and having her disable it from the outside.

We were on Tony's Helicopter and the silence was deafening.

Tony broke the silence when he said,

"You know this isn't about you right." He said as he looked at me with a sad look.

"Well, everyone keeps referencing my past like its free range, so I appreciate the sentiment, Tony." The last thing I wanted was his sympathy.

"Just know Kat, I'm never going to hurt you." He said as he looked back at me as the helicopter took him from behind. He was placed into his suit then dropped to the raft.

I swiftly grabbed a parachute and jumped out of the helicopter, once again facing my fear of heights just like before.

We landed and found the 2 doors that opened the facility opened, so we knew they were here.

"Follow my lead, the chances of them shooting at me are high, get out of the line of fire." He spoke.

I didn't even pay it any mind. I just kept on my own path, when suddenly we heard a voice that sounded like Steve.

"Shhh." I said at Tony, signaling him to keep his mouth shut," They're behind this door." I whispered.

Tony then put the helmet down on his suit and began prying the door open.

When the door opened, I heard a loud sigh, when Tony then said, "You seem a little defensive."

"It's been a long day." Steve said.

I stayed behind the door waiting for Tony to move.

"At ease, Soldier. I'm not currently after you" Tony said to Bucky.

"Then why are you here?" Steve asks

"Could be your story's not so crazy. Maybe. Ross has no idea we're here. I'd like to keep it that way. Otherwise, I gotta arrest us."

"Us?" Steve asked.

"Oh yeah I brought something maybe to chill him out over there," Tony says as he motions to Bucky, "Hey, Manchurian Candidate, you're killing me. There's a truce here. You can drop . . . " Tony starts as I come out from behind the door.

"Guys." I said and nodded my head.

"Kat, you got out...." Bucky starts.

"You too" I added with a smile.

"Alrighty, let's go take care of this now, then you can screw after." Tony says and mine and Bucky's faces turn red.

With his helmet and face plate reengaged Tony lead Steve, Bucky and myself towards the enormous chamber with the capsules standing in it.

"I got heat signatures." Tony said.

"How many?" Steve added.

"Uh, one." Tony said as we all looked at each other in confusion.

We entered the vast chamber and the lights popped on. Hazy, yellow mist descends within the capsules. Each one contains an enhanced soldier from the 1991 experiment. We all looked around baffled by the sight in front of us.

"If it's any comfort, they died in their sleep." We hear a man say.

As we looked closer we saw each person had a bullet hole through their skull.

"Did you really think I wanted more of you?" He continued.

"What the hell?" Bucky said.

"I'm grateful to them, though. They brought you here." The man said as the light in the control room turned on. The man was revealed to be Zemo, the one who did the UN bombing. Steve lined up his shield and went for the glad surrounding the man.

"Please, Captain. The Soviets built this chamber to withstand the launch blast of UR-100 rockets."

"I'm betting I could beat that." Tony fired back.

"Oh, I'm sure you could, Mr. Stark. Given time. But then you'd never know why you came."

"You killed innocent people in Vienna just to bring us here?" I asked.

"I thought about nothing else for over a year. I studied you. I followed you. But now that you're standing here, I just realized . . . there's a bit of Hazel in the Blue of your eyes. How nice to find a flaw Ms. Romanoff." Zemo explained. " I lost everyone because of the Avengers. You run around pretending your actions have no consequence. Well, my son was so excited to go to the states for the first time. Thrilled. When Loki rained hell on the city, my son was amazed cause he could see Iron Man and the Hulk outside. Then, the green asshole got a little too excited. He blew my building to pieces. Took me 3 days to get out of the rubble, my wife and my son, well, they were found 2 days later."

He blames us for everything. I always knew everything I did had consequences, but I had learned to live with them. We all sat in silence for a couple more seconds, as Zemo began speaking again.

"I lost everyone. And so will you." He said. "An empire toppled by its enemies can rise again. But one which crumples from within? That's dead . . . forever."

As he said this, surveillance footage that read December 16, 1991 popped up with a video of a road on the screen.

"I know that road. What is this?" Tony said.

My heart dropped. I know what this is.
