Katerina POV

7 years ago--- Hydra Base in Singapore

"Ms. Romanoff, greatest red room spy, murderer, avenger.... Must be a perfect fit huh?" The man said.

After I made the deal with Zemo, he dragged me into a helicopter he must have used to get here with. We went inside and he told me he knew a man who would be willing to help save my life. I was laying on the helicopter floor replaying my whole life, ready for it to end there.

We landed in Singapore where I was greeted by a doctor named Dr.Strucker, a German scientist, who worked with Hydra. He has been working on human experimentation with his methods and had made a perfect replica of Erksine's original formula. The Avengers attempted to apprehend him when they went to take back Loki's scepter but were distracted by saving Wanda and Pietro that they let him slip away. After they had gotten the scepter back, they thought it was best to have someone guard the stone in the scepter a little tighter, so Tony programed Vision, and the rest was history.

"She needs the serum now." The man said, "Bring in Strucker."

As I lay in the middle of a cold, grey cell waiting to see if my life would be saved, I listened as the men around me moved a machine into the room. This machine was chair like with a head contraption and arm bands that seal you in tight. I was hoisted from my laying position and placed into the machine. The straps were closed around my arms as the head contraption began to close around my skull.

As soon as the machine was ready the doctor, Strucker, walked in with a vile of blue liquid in a syringe.

"Ms. Romanoff. Haha, how fitting. After years of failing to clean your ledger, you've come back to your roots." Strucker smirked.

"I was going to give you another treatment, but it seams your body is too weak to handle it anyways, so, you're about to become Hydra's perfect, little, bitch." He spat.

"You're a monster." I replied.

Strucker leaned down to my eye level and laughed. "I know." Is all he said.

He looked at my body strapped down and took the syringe in his right hand. He chose my left arm and plunged the syringe deep into it. Within a second my body was on fire. I was screaming in pain as I could feel each nerve of my body change and fire like they never had. I could also feel the tearing and putting back together of my muscles as they remolded to what the serum intended.

"Prep her." Strucker said.

"But sir she is experiencing the full power of the serum if we start the machine, she could have major damage." Someone else said.

"Do it." He said sternly.

And so they did. The machine began to admit electrical shocks that turned my mind into mush.

Each day they did this torture my memory got worse. The names and places I knew and loved slowly slipped away. I tried and tried to push this away but the more I tried, the worse it got.

The torture didn't just stop there. There was forcing me underwater for minutes until just before I stopped breathing to the point of insanity, the training where they would stab me, shoot me, carve messages into my body just to make sure I got used to the pain I could endure on missions. It was terror, pure terror. Before I knew it I was a shell of who I once was. Just a mindless body walking around programed with 10 words:

Любовь (love)

Небосклон (Skyfall)

Укусы (Bites)
