I finish my shift at the bakery at 3 I hang up my apron and grab my bag and coat as Melissa comes in to take my place.

Kitty: Rachel wait take a seat

Rachel: Kitty I want to be back before Noah

Kitty: He's a grown boy he can go in on his own

Rachel: Okay fine

I take a seat at one of the tables and and wait for Kitty as she comes over with 2 hot chocolates

Rachel: So what's up

Kitty: How's everything in the new flat

Rachel: It's getting better although Noah sees it as an excuse to not go to school

Kitty: We were all once like that

Rachel: Well yeah

Kitty: So I have a plan

Rachel: Right?

I smile knowing where she's trying to go with this

Kitty: You need to get out more

Rachel: Do I?

Kitty: Yes and I got free tickets to go to see a really good singer playing at a club in town

Rachel: Okay? Where do I fit in this

I love teasing Kitty it's so fun

Kitty: And let's face it you need to get out we both need a hot boyfriend and you've never really experienced town at night

Rachel: Because I've looked after Noah

Kitty: Exactly and this is your free ticket for a night out dress up do your hair nails make up you know you want to especially with your new single hot best friend

Rachel: What about Noah? I can't leave him

Kitty: Rachel he's 17 he's been begging you to go out since he turned 16 I promise you can ring him every hour to check on him

Rachel: Okay fine

Kitty: That's more like it so I shall pick you up at 6 via taxi

Rachel: Sounds good

I hug Kitty and say goodbye to Melissa as I decide to go shopping but not for me for Noah I decide to get him a few new tops and a few pairs of new jeans.

After I pay and head back to the apartment.

Rachel: I'm back

Noah: Living room

I walk in the living room to see Noah and his girlfriend for 2 years Quinn.

Rachel: Hey Quinn

Quinn: Hey Rachel

Rachel: Here Noah I got you a few things

Noah: Rachel you didn't need to

Rachel: You was running out on new things I thought I'd save you the trouble and get you some more

Noah: But you already do enough

Rachel: That's what being a big sister means

Noah: So what's going on tonight

Rachel: Kitty got free tickets to see a singer play in a club you don't mind if I go do you

Noah: Of course not if anything you deserve it

Rachel: Okay well I will be ringing to check on you
