15. Thorin x human reader Shadow

Plot: Y/N is the know warrior Shadow, but she is just a normal human women. She saves Thorin and the company from orcs, after that she joins the adventure and get told she is Thorin's One.

Warnings: None, fluff and fighting. 

I am Y/n, but nearly whole Middle earth knows me with an another name, Shadow. I earned that name because I dress in black clothes, covering my face, I attack orcs and goblins from the place they least expect. Everyone thinks I am a man who lost his family, but the truth is I am just a normal human girl who's parents didn't want her. 

For two days I have been following a company of 13 dwarves, a hobbit and a wizard. As I listened their talking I found out that they are taking back the kingdom of Erebor. I managed to learn a few names too, the leader is Thorin Oakenshield, the wizard is Gandalf, the hobbit is Bilbo and the one with the white long beard is Balin. 

Now I sit behind a rock, when suddenly I hear a strange noise that isn't coming from the company's camp. I grab my bow and sword, walking towards the sound. As I start walking from the direction where the company is I hear alarmed noises and growling that can only be a orc. 

I run over to them and see that they are taken by surprise and can't fight probably against the orcs. I draw my sword out and join the fight. I am a really good fighter, not as good as the tales about me, but nearly. Before the orcs know what's happening I have already killed many of them. With me only 5 dwarves fight and of course Gandalf too. 

The last orc tries to go behind Thorin's back, but I go behind the orc and stab it in the back before it can harm Thorin. As the orc falls down it's body reveal me, he looks at me stunned and we both just stare each other for a time. From closer he is even more handsome than from far away. 

"Thank you, lad" Balin thank's me. "Reveal your face" a dwarf with two axes commands. I don't really want to do it, but at the same time it doesn't hurt anyone to see my face. Slowly I pull my hood and mask down, everyone (not Gandalf) gaps as they see my face. I know they thought that I was a boy and not a girl. 

"You are a woman" two young dwarves, maybe brothers, shout. "I never thought that the legendary Shadow is a human women" a dwarf with a hat says. "So what of it, I still saved you all and your king" I say angry, I don't like when they assume that I can't do the things because I am a woman. 

"What do you want from us" Thorin's baritone voice asks. "Nothing. I just hunt down every orc I find so that I met you at the same time wasn't my idea" I say looking at him with narrowed eyes. I don't say that part where I followed them. "Uncle we could use her fighting skills, if she want to help" one of the younger dwarves say. That's how I came a part of Thorin Oakenshield's company.

I sit in a room a few months after the Battle of the Five armies. Everyone survived, I was just in time to save the Durin's, but still Thorin and Fili were in a coma for three weeks. Kili wasn't so wounded, but he had a nasty wound on his side and arm. The others of the company had just smaller wounds and I had a little bit deeper wound on my leg, but I am so used to them at this point. 

I back my clothes back in my bag. My part of this adventure is over, the dwarves have their home back. At the same time I am happy and sad, sad because I may have gotten feelings for Thorin and now I must leave him. He is a king and I am just a human warrior and the dwarves have their One's.

I hear a knock from the door. "Come in" I shout thinking it's just Fili, Kili or Balin. "I thought that I would find you here" Thorin say surprising me. I never thought that he would come to see me. "What are you doing, Y/N. Why are you packing?" he asks confused. "I am leaving, because my part in fulfilled and I don't have a reason to stay" I say trying to hold my tears. 

"You have a reason to stay. We are you family, you said it yourself" Thorin tries to reason with me. "No, Thorin. I maybe have you all, but the rest will never understand me. I am Y/N and Shadow at the same time" I say without looking at him. 

"What if I give you a reason to stay" Thorin whispers as he walks closer to me. He stands in front of me  and cups my cheek in his hand. "Thorin what are you do-" I start, but am cut of as his lips met mine. His kiss is gentle but at the same time I can feel all the love and caring that he holds for me. 

I am too surprised to kiss him back. After a time he brakes the kiss, but still holds my cheek. "Is that a good reason to stay with me" Thorin whispers looking at me like I would be the Arkenstone. "I don't know what to say, Thorin" I whisper and fear that this is just a dream. 

"I need to know if you want to stay with me as my queen. When I first saw you I just knew you were my One, you shined like a star. I understand if you want to leave, but I needed to tell you that I love you more than anything" Thorin say rubbing my cheek with his thump. "Thorin, I never imagined that you would return my feelings. Of course I will stay with you, if you want me as your queen" I whisper. 

"Yes I want you to stay, amrâlimê" Thorin say before he kiss me again. This time I return the kiss, I can feel him smiling against my lips. I think I can start a new life here with my beloved king and the rest of the company.
