Twenty-five

As we walk away, and make our way to the tunnel to enter the last city I decide to walk beside newt.
I place my hand gently on his arm.
"Hi" I say.
What is wrong with me, hi? I seriously said hi? We haven't seen eachother in almost a year and the only thing I do is say hi?

He just looks at me, he got taller, that's for sure, so I still need to look up to look at his eyes.
He looks at my eyes and then wraps his arms around me.
Hugging me tight.
I wrap my Arms around his neck hugging him back.
And close my eyes.

Enjoying the moment.
I have waited so much for this.
"Love" I hear him whisper.
We break apart and follow the others.

Gally opens the tunnel I turn and see Newt touching his right arm.
Strange.
He turn his head and we lock eyes.
I quickly look at gally.

He starts to go down "Kara, gally take care of those two" Fry says, I nod "Yeah" gally says quickly and goes down.
Thomas goes down to and so do I.

It's all dark down here and it stinks. So I cover my nose. I got used to it but the smell sucks.
"This is gross" newt says.
"Jesus"
"Yeah this is great" Thomas says ironically.

Gally stops and turns on the lights.
"Much better" I say and walk besides him "You never told me about Chuck" I say calmly, I'm not mad, and I'm not gonna blame him, he was stung, but he didn't tell me.
He simply ignores me like I said nothing and says "Stay with me, we got a ways to go" and looks straight in front of him and keeps walking.

Just imagine if we finally defeat wicked, everyone can live in peace, we're gonna get back Minho and go all to safe Haven.
We make it to the door and gally opens it and walks out into the crowd.
Deep breath.
Okay.

We walk, not looking at eachother or to anyone, straight face, no smiling.
No one smiles here or shows any emotions.
Disgusting.

"Deoartation of the train in five minutes, thank you" the voice says.
We just keep walking without saying anything.
I can feel my blood rush through my veins.
We walk upstairs.
Don't look back, you'll seem suspicious. Don't look nervous or anxious. Or better don't show any emotion and act like you know cmthsi city like you've lived here. And don't talk to anyone.

"This is a long way from the glade" newt says.
The galde. Sometimes I wish I was back there. With all of the gladers.
"fifteen minutes to mandatory curfew" and never get caught when it's curfew.
"It's for your safety" the voice says. Oh shut up will you.

Saftey my ass, all wicked is doing is anything but Saftey.
"We better get off these streets" I say.
"Act like you know the city" I continue and walk.

We run to the other side if the road and press our backs to the glass, a wicked car passed by us.
"They've defubetly upped security" I say.
"I'm guessing you shanks have something to do with it" gally says "Come on let's go" I say and we run.

"All right newt you're up" Gally says helping Newt up the the wall.
Gally asks Thomas but he refuses.
Galky gets on the other side of the wall, and I help myself on the wall.
He was so lovely for asking me.

As we run i stop for a moment and Chek if my dagger is with me.
Its the only thing I have left of minho.
Can you belive I really thought I was going to die while I was escaping the Maze all alone?
But I shucking killed two Grievers alone.
And look where I am now. Fighting against wicked.
The only thing that took away from me everything.
After all this, when everything ends.
I'm planning on telling newt everything. What happend in the Maze, the dreams, and that I now him, more like knew him.

"There it is" Gally says.
"If wicked has minho, that's where they'll be keeping him" gally continues.
I bend down and take out the telescope and place it.
"Lawrence has been trying to find a way in for years,the place is  crawling with soldiers and surveillance everywhere" I say looking up and keen onto the railing.
"They scan every floor" gally adds.

"Sound like a bloody fortress" Newt says, I turn to look at him, he's touching the same arm from 30 minutes ago.
Somethings going on.

"You said you had a way in" Thomas say.
"I might" I say.
"You might? What the hell do you mean you might?" Thomas raises his voice.
"Thomas" Gally says waringly.
"I said I have a way in, I never said you woudk like it" I say as Thomas looks at the building with the telescope.
He freezes and looks up. He saw her.
Teresa. "She's our way in " I say.
