Twenty-eight

Here we are, the 'last city'.
I'm walking besides Teresa, we enter the building "Don't stop" gally warns.
We pass through the scanning door. Perfect.
We stop in our tracks. Someone stops in front of us, we're not sure if it's Thomas or Newt.

He motions his head to follow him. That just be Newt.
Gally grabs Teresa and walks.
We keep walking until someone joins us, Thomas.
Teresa opens the door with her thumbprint and when we enter we place out guns in front of us ready to attack.
No one's here.
"Go, go, go" Thomas says quickly.

"Hold on, hold on" gally stops us "I can get here" he says.
Thomas looks at me "Throw me the walkie" so I do and he grabs it and walks down the stairs.
I take off this suffocating mask.
I turn my head when I hear coughing.

Newt.

It's getting worse.
Please, let him be okay.
Please.

"Frypan we're in, how you doing?" Thomas asks on the walkie.
Gally opened the electricity board "This'll work" he states.

"Brenda what's your status?" Thomas ask, on the walkie.
Gally is done with the electricity board now the crank army is in wicked.
Perfect.
He did it.

"All right, let's go" and closes it.

The doors slide open, I place my gun in front of my and shoot the guy who appeared, we kept shooting until everyone's on the floor.
They only shock their body so they won't die.

I take off my marks and place it down.
And walk to a door and open it "Come on let's go, you're safe, it's okay" I reassure them and they start to walk out of the room.
"The vault, how do I get in?" gally asks this guy, threatening him with a gun on his head.
"You can't" he tries to say.

"Guys, this might take a long time" he breaths.
I check each room to see if minho is here.
"Minho's not here" I say.
Thomas walks to Teresa "Where is he?" he asks her.
Teresa starts to search some stuff on the computer so I walk up to the kids.
"Are you okay? Is anyone hurt?" I ask and hear several 'no' good.

"Somebody's moved him up to the medical wingsm" she says and looks at Thomas "Thomas, thats on the other side of the building" she says.

"Take me to him, right now" he orders.
"All right, I coming with you" newt says walking around the 'desk' and grabs him mask "Newt, no, you have to stay here with gally for the serum"

"I'll stay with gally, now go you're wasting time" I say.
Newt walks up to me and looks at me in the eyes "I love you" he says and gives me a quick and soft kiss on the lips and they go away.
They're out of sight.
I'm going to see him again, I remind my self.

Gally's working on the door "He's going to be okay" he says softly.
I take my inhaler and breathe 1...2...3.
Better.

After a bit gally successfully opened the vault grabbed the serums and closes teh vault, an alarm goes blaring.
"Okay we need to get out of here right now!" gally says.
"Stay close to us! Stick together" I order.
"You, you guard this with your life, you understand?" gally hand the kid the serums.

I slide down the mask and charge the gun.
We make it outside unseen.
Good.

"Go, go, go, go!" I say.
"Stay low! Stay low!" gally says and bend down and keep running.
"Brenda where are you? We're here" gally says ok the walkie.
The must be on the bus with Brenda, Thomas and Newt.
We turn and see a bus stops.
We stop.
Brenda.

"Come on, let's go!" she says.
"Come on, let's go! Quickly! Quickly!" the kids start to get on the bus, one by one.
"Wait where's Thomas?" she asks.
I look at her confused.
"We were hoping he was with you" Gally says.
Her eyes widen at his words.
They're not here. Shuck! Shuck!

She starts exiting the bus gally stops her "Wait! Wait! Stay here with the kids, we'll find him" I say and slide down the mask again.
"Just wait for us" I say.
