Chapter 21

Val's P.O.V

Today is the day that Hayes and I go back to California.

I'm really going to miss this place. I feel like I'm with my own family.

As of right now, i am sitting on the couch with Nash and Chad talking about me joining 26mgmt.

" I think you should join. I know it would make Hayes very happy too." Nash told me.

" I've actually been thinking about it and it seems like a good opporitunity for me. So yes, i will join." I told Chad.

" Good to hear that Val." He smiled. " Why don't we all get ready and go down to the office and you can sign some papers?" He told us.

" Sounds good. I'll go wake up Hayes. But I want this to be a surprise. So nobody tell him what's going on." I told them.

" We promise." Nash said.

I got off the couch and walked upstairs to Hayes' room.

He looked so peaceful sleeping so I decided that I wouldn't do anything mean to him.

I walked over to his bed and kissed him on the lips. I waited for him to kiss back, then pulled away.

" Ugh that was so mean." Hayes said rolling over.

" Sorry babe. But get up. We're going out with Nash and Chad." i told him smacking his ass as i walked into the bathroom.

I hoppe into the shower, washed my hair and body then got out.

Of course. Just my luck, I forgot to get my outfit.

I wrapped the towel around my body and walked out.

" Oh so you're teasing me this time." Hayes said smirking.

" No." i said rolling my eyes. " i forgot my clothes dumbass." I told him.

" No need for the name calling. But i like you with the towel on." He said coming over and kissing me.

" Of course you do." I said laughing. " Now move, I need to pick out my outfit." i said pushing him out of the way.

" Don't forget we're leaving today." Hayes told me.

" I know. What time is our flight again?" i asked.

" 2:30. We'll be arriving at 5:30 And Nash is coming back with us too." He told me.

" Okay." I grabbed my outfit and walked back in the bathroom.

" You should've changed in here so I could watch." Hayes yelled.

" In your dreams pretty boy." i yelled back.

I unwrapped the towel and set it on the floor.

My outfit was a tribal printed baseball tee, denim jeans and black converse.

I applied a coat of mascara and lipgloss then moved onto my hair.

I straightened it then put in a black braided headband.

I picked up the towel and walked out of the bathroom.

" Where are we even going anyway?" Hayes asked me.

" It's a surprise." I told him smirking.

He rolled his eyes at me then walked in the bathroom.

I grabbed my phone and wallet then walked downstairs.

Nash, Chad, Skylynn, Elizabeth, and Will were all sitting on the couch so I sat down with him.

Skylynn moved from Elizabeths lap and came to sit on mine.
