Walking down to the meet and greet my stomach was in huge knots. Yeah sure I've performed in front of people before but this is the first day of the tour. Not to mention we have a ton of girls waiting in line to meet the boys.
"Whatcha thinking about babe?" Hayes asked.
"Oh just ya know, all the millions of girls who will have their hands all over my man. It really keeps a girl sane." I laughed.
"They're just fans, Val. You're the only one for me and you know that." He smiled back at me and gave me a quick peck on the cheek.
We met up with Cam and Nash who were already in the back area so no fans could see us.
"Took you guys long enough. We've been waiting for a long time." Nash nagged.
"Well Hayes over here wouldn't get up at 8 like I told him to and made me fall back asleep with him and we didn't wake up until 10. So if you wanna blame someone, blame him." I teased.
"Oh we all knew it was him who took long anyway, Val. Have you met your boyfriend?" Cam asked.
"HEY." Hayes finally got into our conversation.
"So are you excited about the meet and greet?" I asked the boys.
"I love meeting our fans so of course I am. Except for the ones that pretend like they're big fans. Those fucking piss me off let me tell you. And it's so hard being nice to them after that since they don't really know who you are." Cam explained.
"Yeah I get that. Especially because one of your actual fans who maybe couldn't afford tickets didn't get to meet you or they sold out before they could because some fake fan wanted to brag about meeting us." I reasoned with them.
"Thank you. Someone actually gets it. But to answer your question, yes I am so excited to meet everyone. They got us where we are now and it's nice to be able to put a face to the name." Nash answered.
"Boys and Val, we need you all in your places so we can start the meet and greet." One of the tour managers yelled.
"Have fun." I smiled to Nash and Cam as they walked off.
Hayes and I were placed next to each other so we walked to our spots together.
"I'm so fucking excited Val." He jumped up and down.
"I can tell babe." I smiled.
"I love you. Thank you for being apart of this tour and sticking by me." He said and pecked me on the lips.
"Anything for you baby cakes, anything for you." I responded.

The meet and greet has been going on for about an hour and I've met so many amazing fans. Meeting all of them just puts the biggest smile on my face. I've taken a few glances here and there at Hayes and he just seems to be having the time of his life and I'm so happy for him.
"Val, I'm so happy I get to meet you. You've inspired me so much to just be who I am and not let anyone tear you down. I love you so much." One of the fans started crying and I gave her a hug.
"I love you more. What's your name, love?" I asked her.
"Natalie."
"Well, Natalie, thank you for supporting me. It's because of fans like you that I get to do what I love. Now, what's your twitter?" I asked.
"Really? Oh my gosh...Umm it's nat_34." She answered.
I pulled out my phone and searched her name and immediately followed her.
"Thank you so much, Val!"
"It was no problem, can we take a selfie on my phone?" I asked. "I want to tweet it out." I smiled.
"Is that even a question." She freaked out and I laughed.
We both smiled in the picture and then she took one on her phone. I gave her one last hug and she moved on to Hayes.
Fans like that make what I love to do even more enjoyable.

Okay so it's been a year since I've updated and I don't even know if anyone reads this book anymore or if anyone even still reads Hayes fanfics for that matter lol but anyway. I just wanted to say that I'm sorry it's been so long I just kind of grew out of the whole wattpad phase but recently I've been reading more stories on here and just have been wanting to get back into writing. So if you've stuck around this long, thank you! I also want to hear your ideas on things you want to happen so definitely comment those.
