Chapter 34

"What do you want to do before everybody gets here?" Hayes asked me. 

We were currently laying in bed skipping through the hotels channels.

"Maybe dinner or something. I want to explore. I've never been here before so it'd be cool to explore." 

"Alright sounds good to me. Date night?"

"Sure. I'm gonna get ready." I told him getting up from the bed and heading into the bathroom.

"Don't forget. It's cold outside." He smirked at me.

"Shut up." I laughed.

I decided to wear jeans, a brown long sleeve shirt, a cream fur vest and my tory burch brown riding boots.

"Is this warm enough?" I asked Hayes.

"You look beautiful. You may want your north face though." He reminded me.

"Oh yeah I'll bring that." I said picking it up from the chair and grabbing my Louis Vuitton purse and phone.

"Ready?" 

"Yep."

"What are you in the mood to eat?" Hayes asked me.

"Anything really." I smiled and grabbed his hand.

"How about this place?" Hayes said pointing to BJ's restaurant.

"Sounds good to me." 

We walked inside and Hayes went to the hostess.

"Table for 2? Right this way." 

The hostess led us to our table and handed us our menus. "Your server will be with you in a moment."

Hayes and I had small talk and then ordered our food. I got the margarita pizza and Hayes got the steak. We paid for our meal then walked back to our hotel.

"So what's on the agenda for tomorrow?" I asked.

"Well, Nash and Cam's flight lands at 10 tomorrow morning so we'll go pick them up from the airport and then go to breakfast or brunch and then do whatever we want after but we have to be back by 5 because we're going to eat with everyone that's apart of the tour." Hayes told me as i took off my makeup.

"Sounds good to me. Is the dinner fancy or casual?"

"Fancy." I nodded my head and then put my hair up and walked out of the bathroom.

"In 2 days the tour starts can you believe it." Hayes said crawling into bed and turning the tv on.

"I know, I'm so excited to be touring again. I've missed singing so much." I said.

"I wish things on your last tour didn't end the way they did." Hayes told me, grabbing my hand and kissing it.

"Me too but It's fine. That tour lasted longer than I expected it to be. It was fun and all but I'm happy to be starting something new." I smiled.

"I still am so sorry I didn't tell you about the whole Shawn being the actual opening act and for dating Madison behind your back." 

"Hayes don't worry about it. We're passed that. Shawn and I weren't meant to be... you and I were. And as for Madison, she's a bitch and that's that." I laughed.

"I love you so much, Val." Hayes smiled and leaned in and kissed me.

"I love you so much."
