Clouds ( Sequel To TDKAU)

Chapter 32

It was currently Saturday morning and I was packing for Pennsylvania. Hayes and I leave tomorrow night for our first tour stop. 

"Babe why are you packing shorts, it's going to be cold." Hayes asked me.

Rolling my eyes I took them out of my suitcase and replaced them with jeans. "It would've been nice of you to tell me." I narrowed my eyes.

"Val, its the middle of winter, it's literally snowing up there now." 

"Well looks like i need to go get a winter coat." I said groaning in frustration.

"You don't own one?" He asked me.

"Hayes, babe, we live in LA, no I don't own a winter coat." 

"Fair enough. Let's go get you a coat." 

I grabbed my phone and wallet and walked downstairs and opened the car door. Hayes got in on the passenger side and I drove off.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"I'm going to see if Nordstrom's has any North Face jackets." I told him.

He nodded his head and plugged his phone into the aux and we jammed to some music on the way there.

"Why is everybody at the mall." I groaned in frustration once again.

"Some people like to shop." Hayes answered.

"I know but I can't find a park." 

"There's one." He pointed.

I pulled in and we got out and walked to the mall.

"Okay so Nordstroms first and then where next?" I asked.

"I don't need anything so wherever." He said interlocking our hands.

We walked hand in hand to Nordstrom and i found a black puffy jacket and a black vest.

I walked to the checkout and then we walked back out to the car.

"Okay so I have my makeup, clothes, pajamas, underwear, bras, shoes, and my winter jacket packed and I'll put my toothbrush and other stuff in tomorrow morning." I told Hayes.

"What about your chargers and computer?" He asked.

"Carry on." I replied. "Are you done packing?"

Hayes nodded his head. He grabbed both of our suitcases and carried them downstairs and put them in front of the door so we could get them on our way out in the morning. 

I sat on my phone scrolling through my twitter feed while Hayes was downstairs. I replied to some fan accounts and then decided to tweet

"PENNSYLVANIA TOMORROW! WHO'S EXCITED?"

I immediately got tons of retweets and comments from the people who got tickets to see us. I followed a few then went downstairs to see what everyone else was doing.

"Hey babe." Em said as I sat down on the couch next to her.

"Yo." I replied.

"When do you come back again?" She asked.

"In 2 weeks. We fly to Pennsylvania tomorrow then spend 4 days there then fly to New York City and we're spending 7 days there so we have time  to do some stuff and then flying to Maryland and staying for 3 days and then we'll be home."

"That sounds fun. I hope you won't miss the baby being born." 

"I hope I don't either. But if you go into labor while we're away, just have Taylor call us and we'll be on the first flight back. I wouldn't miss your baby girl being born, you know that." I reassured her.

"I know. I'm also just getting a little nervous and I know Tay is too."

"You have nothing to worry about. If Taylor freaks out on you, JD is here too. But if those two don't help, I'm always a phone call away." I smiled.

"Thanks Val. I love you girly." 

"Love you too Em." I smiled, reaching over and giving her a hug.

I AM SO SORRY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN FOREVER. Since I am on Spring Break, I have more time to write. I'm going to be updating this book and my other book. Thank you for all your nice comments on They Don't Know About Us and Clouds, I don't think you understand how much those comments make my day. I hope you all love this chapter and continue to read.
