Chapter 27

* fast forward to after they got back from Hawaii*

Val's P.O.V

" Em get up. It's time for your appointment." I shook her until she woke up.

She mumbled at me and then rolled back over.

" C'mon." I said pushing her, " You get to know whether it's a boy or a girl." I said in a sing song voice.

Her eyes shot opened and she hurried along to the bathroom.

I just laughed at her while she brushed out her hair and hurried with her makeup.

I turned on my heel and walked out of her room into mine, trying to be quiet so I don't wake up Hayes.

Walking into the bathroom, I slipped out of my pajamas and hopped into the shower. I washed my hair and body then got out.

I wrapped the towel around my body and dried myself off.

I changed into patterned Nike shorts,and a pink Victoria Secret hoodie.

I dried my hair then pulled it into a messy bun and did my makeup then flicking the light and walking out.

" Hey babe." Hayes said groggily.

" Hello love." I said laying next to him.

" Where are you going?" He asked, wrapping his arms around me.

" Em's appointment." I told him, snuggling into his chest.

He nodded and gave me a kiss.

I heard Em calling my name. " Well i gotta go babe." I said sitting up. " Do you need anything while I'm out?" I asked him.

He shook his head.

" Well text me if you think of something. I love you." i said, giving him a peck.

" Love you more." He smirked.

" Emily." The doctor called.

She got up and Kaylee and I followed her in.

" Are you excited to find out the gender?" The doctor asked us.

" More than you know." Em squealed.

We all laughed and the doctor began putting the gel stuff on her stomach.

She moved the tool around and cleared her throat.

" Well miss Emily... You are having a girl!"

Kaylee and I looked at each other and screamed.

" Oh my gosh!" Em started crying.

" Would you like a picture?" The lady asked.

" Please." Em nodded.

The doctor left and Em looked at us.

" I'm having a girl." She said.

" We know!" i squealed.

" How are you going to tell Taylor?" Kaylee asked.

" Well I was thinking, what if we go to the store after and get an outfit and give it to him?" She told us.

" Let's do it." I said.

The doctor came back with pictures and we left.

After we picked out an outfit we drove home.

I walked through the door, with Kaylee and Em trailing behind me.

" BABE." Taylor yelled. " How was the appointment? Do you know the gender?"

" Calm down Tay." Em told him. " The appointment was good and yes I do know." Em told him walking to the couch.

" Are you gonna tell me?" He gave her a confused look.

She just handed him the bag with the outfit inside.

He gave her a confused look and opened the bag.

" OH MY GOSH WE'RE HAVING A GIRL." He screamed.

" I HEARD SCREAMING IS EVERYBODY OKAY?" Hayes and JD came yelling.

" WE'RE HAVING A GIRL." Taylor screamed.

" Congratulations bro." Hayes ' bro hugged' him.

" Yeah man, congrats." JD ' bro hugged' him too.

" Thanks guys." He told them.

Hayes came and sat next to me and whispered..." When is it our turn?"

My jaw dropped

" Not anytime soon." I smirked.

He just laughed.

" Maybe when we're married." I told him.

" Hmm... I like the idea of Valerie Grier." He smirked.

" I do too." I said kissing him.

" Ew.. please. Enough of that." JD spoke up.

" Please, for all we know, you and Kaylee could be having sex when you tell us all you've done is make out." I smirked.

Their mouths hung open and they started blushing.

" That's what I thought." I laughed.

They rolled their eyes and went back to talking.

Hayes cleared his throat and stood up. " So I have a surprise for everybody."

We all looked at him.

" I got us all tickets to see Shawn in concert tonight."

I screamed and gave him the biggest hug ever. " Thank you so much Hayes."

" You're welcome." He hugged me back. " Now everybody go get ready. We leave in 2 hours."

We all ran upstairs and started getting ready.

I went into my room and noticed a dress bag with a box and note on my bed.

I opened the note and it read...

" Dear princess,

Wear this to the concert tonight. I love you.

Hayes."

I smiled and opened the box up.

It had the most prettiest pair of heels i have ever seen in my life. Next, I opened the dress bag up.

The dress was beautiful. It was a creme color with cutout shoulders. I was in love with it.

I slipped the dress on, same with the heels and went to the bathroom.

I curled my hair and did my makeup.

I added a necklace and walked downstairs.

" I knew that dress would look beautiful on you." I blushed and gave Hayes a kiss.

" Thank you so much."

" Anything for my princess." He smiled.
