OLD CHAPTER 4 READ REWRITE

THIS CHAPTER WAS REWRITTEN BUT IM NOT DELETING TO SAVE READS/VOTES

I took a nap half way through writing this chapter, sorry if it doesn't make sense halfway through.

Also spelling may be worse if I don't catch it before posting, cause one my hands are cold and two I accidentally slammed my hand in a door :')

Also expect all chapters to be 1k words+ cause I cannot bring myself to write any less. Mind this story is gonna be short maybe 10 chapters depending on how much I write and I won't leave it on a cliffhanger or just stop posting without warning. But when I finish writing I might make a oneshot book? What's yall thoughts on that?

Huggy hit the path hard, slowly starting to slide of to the abyss below.

You could reach out. Move and grab his arm, you wanted to. But what would the consequences be? His weight pulling the both of you off? You drag him onto the path and your stuck running from him again?

You looked over at Izzy and Juno who had flung themselves against the barrier furthest from you. They had no emotion on their faces, just a cold distant look.

You made your mind up. You couldn't let him die no, you couldn't do that if he was truly living; a living breathing being then he did not deserve to die.

He slid off the edge just as you reached him, you shooted the grab pack hands at him, they caught him but not without him hitting his head of off three different things.

You winced at the thought.

Slowly you felt yourself tugging forward as the weight started dragging you too off the edge. You dug your heels into the ground trying to regain your balance but it was no use. You weren't letting go and if it meant the death of both of both of you? Then so be it.

You would not let this creature die. You needed to know how it existed. Was there more of his kind?

Your body reached the edge pulling you forward off the barrier, desperate hands grabbed your shoulders and waist pulling you back with them.

Juno and Izzy had jumped from their spot and came to rescue you.

' y/n let go! '

' that thing tried to kill us! '

They shouted and pleaded for you to let him go, for you to let him fall into the abyss but you couldn't. Your mind screamed and begged you louder to not let him go.

You felt as though your body was dropped, waking from whatever trance consumed your mind.

You had fell onto the path Izzy and Juno lying underneath you, your back lying atop them.

And there, weakly grabbing the rails and failing was huggy. The weight of you three anchored you down to the ground. Pulling him back up top; the grabpacks hands tugged him once again fully pulling him over the railing now. He was back lying on the path.

His back slumped against the floor and his head resting against the barrier with his legs dangling over the edge.

He was back up top.

The grabpacks hands returned to their spot and let out a whirring cry. The trio gasped for breath, with looks of horror and shock with what you did; Juno stood up tugging you up with her, before slapping you as hard as she could across your face.

' what is wrong with you? You could have killed us all! And possibly have by bringing him back up here! '

She screamed at the top of her lungs, throwing out a few profanities at you. Izzy just looked at the floor, with tears sliding down her face.

' he's living too... He doesn't deserve to die! '

You screamed back, you puffed out your chest and stood up trying to make yourself appear taller then her.

She screamed as she pushed you back, balling up her fist and trying to hit you. You grabbed her arm and flung her on her back. She kicked out her legs making you trip over, falling on top of her.

She'd pushed you on your back and was trying to hit your face, attempting to hold your arms down but with one hand on you she couldn't keep them both by your head; you wiggled one of your arms free and scratched her face.

She yelped and stood up holding her nose. You both gasped for air and seemed to be waiting for the other to go move.

Izzy was hidding in a corner, she was holding herself with tears streaming down her face with a begging look in her eyes.

You looked back up at each other, Juno approached you with prideful steps. You crawled back.

Huggy was now just laying on his side watching you push yourself back from the now threat. Why would you think he was bad? He did nothing wrong, he even helped you! But she pushed and tormented you, but you didn't run from her! Well except now of course.

You crawled backwards away from Juno forgetting the 11 foot monster just a few steps behind.

Your brain froze as your back hit something soft. Juno looked up from you also forgetting the blue demon.

It made a low purr, you couldn't bring yourself to move. Neither could Juno.

A long blue arm twisted itself around your waist pulling you closer to it's body. You felt the path creak under the weight of huggy as he moved upwards.

Juno looked up at him, even with him sitting down he still towered over you all. She took a step forward. Huggy let out a threatening growl. She took a step back. He hummed.

You where being protected by a 11 foot tall demon; how was someone supposed to feel about that? He had wrapped one of his arms completely around you, taking notice of the lack of bones or joints. He was hugging you similar to how a child would hug a toy, his head resting upon yours and cuddling you into their chest.

Juno shook her head as Izzy tapped her shoulder, and she moved back, making huggy hum in response.

Izzy was talking to Juno but at a distance you couldn't hear. Juno threw a glance your way that reeked of pity.

They seemed to converse back and forth; you where trying to listen but a living toy decided to purr and rub heads, making gurgling noises similar to how a toddler attempts speech.

You gave up listening after a while, you where tired and decided to talk to huggy, it seemed to encourage him to 'talk' more. Small chirps and gargles emitted from his chest as he moved his head as if mocking Juno talking.

You laughed and it encouraged him more, Izzy and Juno looked over at you. Izzy seemed to have won whatever their quiet conversation was about. Izzy nodded in your direction and pointed up to the vent you fell from, with a questioning tilt of her head.

You nodded back.

' hey.. do you think you could reach that? '

You pointed up to the vent, he looked at you and back up to the vent. He purred, let you go and stood up.

Maybe, just maybe, he would decide to help us. To let us out.

Maybe he could help.

I hate this chapter, also Juno I'm so sorry I did that to your character :( trust me I'll make it back up to you

But it's getting good now plot wise. Just wait :)

I took too many naps writing this so it might be a bit off. Sorry about that 😅

I'll defo change this in the future, and wattpad messed up so if there seems to be something missing it's because I had to rewrite it :/
