chapter 4: we don't bite friends (rewrite)

Juno as I promised, I'm rewriting the chapter (feelings slightly hurt :')

I write this as I watch the fireworks outside from my window. It's nice.

Chapter is gonna be very different so I recommend that you reread chapter 3 :).

Also I feel like my writing has worsened? Anyone else feel like that? Maybe I should keep to just writing on college days so it keeps better?

Also rerember huggy is mentally 6 in this fic, he's gonna act like a kid that hasn't been paid enough attention too. I'll explain at the end of this chapter more so I don't spoil it :)

Huggy hit the path hard, slowly starting to slide of to the abyss below.

He seemed to pass out for a split second, regaining consciousness just as he slid off.

He weakly grabbed at the railings; trying to pull himself back over but not being strong enough to fully get over.

' okay this is gonna be insane but trust me on this one... Please '

They looked at you before shaking their heads no. You smiled weakly and ran over just as his other hand slipped, any longer and he would have fell into the abyss.

You could only grab one of his large hands, his other one weakly reaching out to you. His weight finally started pulling you closer to the edge, but Juno and Izzy made their way over to you.

Izzy grabbed the other hand and Juno anchored you both down; pulling back at the same time he finally fell face first onto the path letting out a small grunt.

Your trio took a few steps back looking at each other; their stares finally landed on you, giving questioning and distasteful looks.

Huggy let out a loud wail.. and a few more, it was crying; he balled into himself with a frown.

' I'm gonna regret this, it's either gonna kill us or save us '

Your friends shook their heads quicker and more worried, knowing exactly where this was gonna go. I mean who else was gonna scold him? It would work right? He would stop attacking you?

Sure you didn't really listen to what your teacher said when you took the childcare course but some light scolding couldn't hurt right?

Just a simple bad huggy, we don't hurt people who don't hurt us would work right?

Huggy was still crying but seemed to quieten, he made grabby hands at you and stretched out his arms in your direction.

You took a quick breath of air.

' bad huggy. '

You said sternly but even your voice sounded unsure. You put your hands on your hips and he stopped making sounds, he just gazed up at you with his lower lip quivering.

' you don't hurt people who don't hurt you. You don't bite friends! '

You pointed at him sternly. His only reply was to continuously shiver and his lip quiver even more.

' Why'd you attack us hm? I mean I understand Juno, but she never hurt you first. If you didn't want to get hit you shouldn't have threatened her! '

' yeah it's not like you have to protect this place anymore, it's not like anyone's coming ba- '

You pushed Juno behind you with a stern stare sent her way.

Izzy laughed quietly.

' you know how mean that was blue? It was very mean! '
