//TW: mentions of death, //

It's quiet in Lilly's old garden. It's overgrown and abandoned, not even the birds disturbing it. The sun beams down through the clouds, making the old place look serene and cozy. It wasn't really cozy. Not with that thing here.

Dark enchantress had been wandering for nearly an hour now, and Vanilla was pissed off about it. She is the reason this garden has no owner anymore, why his best friend is no longer here. But when he watched her enter their sanctuary, hidden from the world, he grew curious.

It was their spot, during the summer months, where they would hang out outside of the Laboratory. It was hidden through a tunnel of foliage, now overgrown and messy. If you were to follow this path all the way, you would find a hand-carved bench next to a small lake and waterfall. A tall willow tree cast a shadow over it all, hiding it from the outside world.

But the real question was, how did she even know it was there??
And why is she crying at the sight of it?

The lady was outright sobbing as she sat at the bench, grief overtaking her. She missed this place dearly, and the memories hurt. It hurt more to know she couldn't go back. Not with her knowledge. The witches, they could pluck her up any moment it felt like. It was a shame that it couldn't go on, her trick... living two lives... she would move earth and sky to be with Vanilla in the garden again, on good terms. No one would accept her back ether, this was her burden to bear, even if it tore her apart. She was a monster.

Vanilla on the other hand watched in silence. If a tear had slipped, no one needed to know.
