...

He smirked and changed his way to his mother's house. He had something really special in his room and it was appropriate to take it now. He needed it.

After he arrived at his old house, he rang the bell since he didn't have keys and waited for his mom to open the door. Five minutes later, tired, sleepy Elizabeth appeared. She was still wearing her pajamas. Joe had unfortunately woke her up.

"Hey mom" he said and stepped in the house

"It's literally 6:25am in the morning Joe. Is everything okay?" she says

"Yep. Everything is fine." he closed the door behind him "I just wanted to take something from my old room"

"Is it that important?" she asks

"Yes it is. Sorry for interrupting your sleep, but I really need to take this thing now" he says

"Sure darling. It's fine."she says

" Cool. Go back to sleep mom. I'll take it and then leave. "

" Do you want to tell me what is the exact thing you want? "she asks curiosly

" Later mooom. Now...go back to bed" he said and she nodded

After the little conversation with his mother he went straight to his bedroom and closed the door. Then, he started searching for the thing he wanted into the drawers of his desk and emptied everything they had to find it. But nothing. With it, he opened his closet and took a look into the old boxes he had. They were full of old clothes and mostly shoes.

After the last box, he threw it in the closet with frustration. He sat down on his old bed, placed his hands behind his neck and sighed. Where could he have put it? Come on Joe think...Think... he sighed again.
I was 19...immature...still gorgeous...where would a 19 year old kid with a high ego put it... OF COURSE he whispered to himself

He leaned in and stretched his hand under the bed. He grabbed a box and pulled it outside.
A huge smile had decorated his face. He hadn't seen that box for years. It was the box where he was keeping the most important things he would use in the future. The box, was full of dust and so he blew it. He sneezes at the dust in the air and then opens the box.

He had this box since he was 11 years old. Into it, there were all of his good and even bad memories. Things that reminded him of his old life. First, he took in his hands the first thing he saw. It was a miniature of superman. His best friend Louis had gave it away to him when they were only 12. He had learned that his father died and gave away to his best friend his favorite superhero to make him feel better. Joe giggled at his memory

Then he took out of the box, a letter he had written at the age of 17. He chuckled seeing it and put it into his pocket. He wanted to show it to Taylor. That was the one he wanted and now he wants something else.

His fingers messing everything in the box. So many papers, letters, miniatures and other little stuff. Suddenly he saw it and grinned. He couldn't hold the tears back though. It was a silver ring with the letter T on it. He used to wear it everyday in school. It was his lucky ring. The first time Joe saw, fell in love with it. It had the letter T on it and his mind quickly made a line for it. Treat people the way they treat you. It was like a moto he had in his mind.

His smile couldn't leave his face and then, he decided to slide the ring on his finger and it still fitted perfectly.
He was impressed.

Later, he put the ring in his pocket placed all the things again in their order. He stood up in his legs, sighed and then left the room with the letter and the ring.
