Don't You Ever Change

... A few minutes later she felt the exact sharp pain. She groaned and tried to get up from bed. As she got up, she went straight to the kitchen, opened a drawer and took an advil out of it. She fills a glass with water, so she swallowed the advil and then drank the water. Hopefully the pain will go away for some hours after this advil.

As she was going to the bedroom again, still with that bedsheet around her, she remembered something. She has to write down in her calendar, the date of her period. Then, she made her way to the bedroom, took out of the nightstand her calendar and found the date she wanted.
13th of June. Suddenly while she was writing it she remembered something for the second time today. It was their 6 month anniversary and she forgot it...
Shit! It must have slipped my mind Fuck! She was close to shout.

She lied on the bed and started thinking of what she should get Joe. He makes multiple surprises for her and she haven't done anything for him. Okay maybe she has done some dinners in her house but that can't compare with the surprises Joe does to her.

How could I forget about it?! Now how can I surprise him? And it's such a predictable surprise if I write a a song about him. Right now, he is probably preparing for the best surprise ever and bought me an expensive gift, when I have nothing to give him. Fuck!...
She was thinking and suddenly Selena called. Taylor, saw the ID and quickly picked up the phone.

"Hey, sup Taylor?" she asks

"I'm fine..." Taylor says

"Did something important happen?" said Selena

"Well...at first I called you because I'm home alone with the only company my period!" Taylor screamed.

"...Umm...you know...you can lower your voice..."

"I'm sorry! I'm just upset! Today it's mine and Joe's 6 month anniversary, and it totally slipped my mind...he probably got me a nice present when I'm here suffering from pain!" she trails off

"Okay...do you want me to come over?" she asks Taylor

"I don't know...i just need some ideas for a nice present..." Taylor says

"Why don't you write a song? I mean you have a talent in that and he would admire it a lot" Selena said sensibly

"It's sto plain...i want something extraordinary. He always does the best surprises." Taylor lowered her head "I can't just write a stupid song"

"First of all your songs are not stupid. Second, I'm 10 minutes away from the house. I'm coming over and don't say the opposite" selena insisted

"Fine... Just come quickly."

With that they hang up the phone and Taylor sighs. She curses herself for forgetting it and sits up, her head now touching the headboard. She closes her eyes and thinking. Overthinking actually. She does is really often but now she has to think what Joe likes and would love as a present.
Think Taylor...think...ugh...

Suddenly a notion enlighten her and she got up from bed. She put a robe on and then started heading downstairs. Fortunately the advil had already started effecting and she was feeling better.

She entered the kitchen and quickly texted Joe in her phone.

Taylor :
Babe, something really
important happened and sel
is coming over. Could you
please come after 2pm?

She texted and then left the phone on the table. She tapped her fingers together and soon Joe responded

Joe:
Sure babe. I'll visit my
mom and you girls can
have your girl-talk
