Y/n pov:

You could barely hear the sirens over the sound of your own breathing. Your heart was hammering in your chest, your legs were aching the more you ran. Cemetary wind was on the hunt, and you were their prey.

Hacking into a military satellite seemed like a good idea half an hour ago, guess the jokes on you now.

You dodged pedestrians, knocking into a few until you ducked into an alley, hiding behind some trashcans to catch your breath. "I'm such an idiot, of course they'd be able to track you y/n, they're the fucking government for gods sake" you huffed, the air still finding its way back into your lungs. Hearing more sirens you tensed, your eyes never leaving the main street. Hearing the sirens get further away you breathed a sigh of relief. You tucked some of your h/l h/c hair behind your ear and pulled your backpack off. There wasn't much in it, just what you managed to grab before the feds showed up, some spare clothes, snacks and a few water bottles. Unfortunately you opted to leave your laptop and phone behind knowing they'd probably be able to track you with it. "Now cemetary wind knows what I look like, thats not gonna make hiding any easier, they'll probably have local cops looking for me too, can't exactly change my appearance right now so this will have to do" you whispered to yourself while pulling a f/c hoodie out of your bag. You pulled it over your head and adjusted the hood. Wiping the sweat off of your forehead, you took another deep breath and got back on your feet. Cautiously walking over to the opening of the alley, you kept close to the wall and scanned the street looking for anyone suspicious. The sun was starting to set, the orange hues cascading down the walls of the buildings. 'Perfect, should make things easier for me' you thought, a small smirk forming on your lips.

Taking another quick look around, you deemed it clear and headed off, choosing to walk instead this time, it drew less attention to yourself. You didn't really know where you were going, you didn't exactly have the cash on you to get very far. Even if you did, where would you go, cemetary wind would find you eventually. No, you needed a plan first. Although looking back now, a plan would have been helpful before you decided to break the law. Oh well, no use dwelling on past mistakes, it's best to focus on how you're going to get out of this situation first.

It's been a few hours now, the sun has set and the moon has now risen. The city lights illuminated the night sky blocking out all the stars. The streets active with the regular nightly crowd; drunks hopping from club to club, the occasional gunshot or firework depending on where you were standing. You've seen a few cop cars drive past but none seemed to pay you any notice. Either they haven't been notified about what you've done and what you look like, or they're really lousy at their job. Regardless, you hoped it'd stay that way.

After walking for a little while longer, and no sign of cemetary wind, you decided it was time for some rest. Your legs hurt and it was getting harder to keep your eyes open. You'd wandered to the outskirts of the city, the layout unfamiliar to you since you didn't get out the house much. Seeing a sign for a junkyard, you weighed out your options. "Alleyway with the drunken homeless or beat down car with possible chance of actually getting some sleep...yeah...I think I'll take the car" you muttered to yourself already starting to climb over the fence. You landed on your feet and dusted some dirt off your hands onto your black leggings.

You wandered around for a bit looking for any signs of people being there, it looked like it had been abandoned. There was graffiti on the cars, trash everywhere, the building where the cars would be fixed up or taken apart had a hole in the roof. "Doubt anyone will be back here for a while" you whispered. You let out a yawn and started heading over to the building hoping there was a room without a hole in you could bunker down in when a light hit the corner of your eye. Without the big city lights the moon was out in full force and reflected off a windscreen of a car parked under a structure partially covered with a sheet. Curiosity got the better of you and you headed over to it. Placing your bag to one side you pulled the tarp off the car to reveal a stunning blue bugatti veyron. Besides a thin layer of dust the car looked brand new. You had to take a step back to admire it. Then a thought occurred to you, who would just leave a car as nice as this in a dump like this. It didn't make sense. You looked around some more but there was no sign of anyone being here.
