It's been two months since the Vegas incident. You all decided it was best to lay low for the time being. The guys explained to you who lockdown was, a hunter who was after all the autobots and was now, for some reason, helping the humans hunt them too.
What happened that day was all over the news for weeks. Your face was plastered on all the news channels and they were labelling you a terrorist or an accomplice to the evil decepticons. You even had a ten grand reward for anyone who brought you in which you found kinda cool. Drift not so much.
Because of that it's been harder to gather supplies for yourself without being recognised by everyone.
You've all been hunkered down in a large cave somewhere in Texas. It was away from any town or city so you could relax for a little while.
Over the course of the two months, you've gotten to know the other autobots a bit better. Even crosshairs has finally started to warm up to you.
You felt pretty useless back in Vegas, only being able to run away and have the autobots save you made you realise something, maybe getting some training from them wouldn't be a bad idea. So you managed to convince them all to teach you a few of their tricks.
Drift taught you some martial arts, using bee as his training dummy. It was a little harder for you since you didn't have someone to train with that was human sized but you managed to pick up a few moves. Hopefully if you're ever in a bind, you'd be able to get yourself out of it.
When you weren't training with drift, you were with hound. He taught you the ins and outs of all the guns he had, from how to handle one properly, to cleaning them and you could now take a pistol apart and put it back together with ease. He wanted to teach you about explosives aswell but drift refused to let you near one of hounds grenades. He wasn't thrilled about the idea of him teaching you about guns but explosives? That was a definite no.
After learning the workings of a gun you obviously needed to learn how to shoot one, and that brings us to now. Your shooting lesson with crosshairs. He was the best sniper of the group so it only made sense he'd teach you, it did take some convincing but he eventually caved.
You'd set up some empty cans on a boulder about twenty feet infront of you. You had your gun raised and aimed at your target but unfortunately it turns out you can assemble a gun with ease but you're not so sharp with the shooting side.
You'd been at it for an hour and only managed to shoot one of the cans. And even that was only grazing it slightly.
You groaned in frustration, crosshairs wasn't exactly the best teacher in the world as his idea of teaching was telling you to do something and leaving you to it. Then getting annoyed when you didn't do it right.
"Look, all ya gotta do is aim and shoot, it's as simple as that" he repeated for what seemed like the hundredth time.
"Yeah ya said that an hour ago, you can't just expect be to know what that means" you retort, letting your arms go limp. Your muscles were starting to ache from holding them up for so long.
He ran his hand over his face and let out an annoyed sigh, clearly fed up with having to teach you.
You looked over to the others for some help but they were pretending to mind their own business, clearly trying to hide their amusement of your suffering.
"Can you actually show me how to do it instead of just telling me, it'd be a lot easier" you suggest, looking back over to crosshairs.
"Fine, whatever" he groaned and stood up from his seated position on a boulder.
He stood next to you and pulled out one of his blasters, spinning it around his finger a few times before gripping it properly. "Show off" you mumbled, rolling your eyes.
