Since the last time we parted ways, I've been blindfolded and taken out in the middle of nowhere. Don't worry dear reader, I'm fine, but it's about to get a lot worse. They untied my bandages after a while, and I found myself in a Large mowed field. Around me stood a large group of these little creatures, who I learned have turned out to be fairies. Here the Little Man who dragged me here called himself Igr, while the younger one was Zeen.

My heart jumped a little in my chest when I saw my book in the hands of one of these fairies. I would have started to run to it, but Igr flew up to me and wagged a finger at me."No, no my young one" he wheezed, "not so fast, where is your manner? You have entered our world, and inadvertently lost your possession. To get out of here and to get this book back you must pass several tests.

"All right," I replied, "What are the tests? Who jumps higher or who can eat the most food?"

As soon as these words come out of my mouth I changed my mind a little bit, because I knew that if I ate the food here i wont be able to leave. And this old man was staring at me rather unkindly.

"No my dear Hogan," he replied, "this will be a psychological test, if you pass, you can get out of here with your book. If not .... If you don't object then you'll be dead."

These words sent a cold shock running down my spine, I watched as they took Roger and took him away to the audience.

"Isn't there anything safer?" I asked a tad hesitantly, "this is just a book!"

" don't you worry you!" replied this flying grandpa and slapped me on the back " it'll be fun anyway, we haven't had guests in so long. In fact, if you die here, there will be a place for our kids to play."

His words didn't comfort me at all, and sweat started to form on my hands."All right, let's get started!"

As soon as he uttered these words In the middle of the field began to unfold a large Staircase that went straight into the heavens.

" Come on, go" he wheezed merrily "don't make us wait"

I carefully put my foot on the first step, As soon as I did this the scene transformed, and again I was in that old castle. I was now in the basement, and at the top of those stairs was a warm and inviting light. There was a silhouette in the doorway, and the soft notes of a melody came out.

"Oh how I love this thunderstorm, How I adore this lightning, Come to me like a hurricane in the night. Come to me, my love, and we'll always stay together, forever. Enchant me with your heavenly light, May we be as inseparable as two drops of water. May even our fading light be brighter than all the death that goes on around us. May even our last moments dazzle. It doesn't matter if it disappears afterwards, What matters is that we're together. Me and you. "

My eyes started to water as I recalled these memories. Slowly I began to walk upstairs closer to Ethel's figure. She was wearing a soft brown dress, and her blond hair glistened in the candlelight. I walked up to her, and she stiffened a little when she saw me. Her voice shook as she said my name.

"you-you're back?" she asked me in a trembling voice, bringing her hand up to caress my cheek "I thought you'd never come back, I thought I'd die here with it."

"Who?!" I cried out, "what's there? What hurt you my dear?"

I had forgotten all the sorrows she had brought  me. She looked so scared and fragile, and all I wanted was to save her.

"'o-o-over there, in that Far Corner-" before she could finish speaking, a silver spear materialised in my hands.

"Don't worry," I replied. "Stand aside, I'll take care of it."

Summoning all of my courage, I went to the far corner where the shadows were thickened in wisps of night.

"Here we meet again," it hissed, slowly opening its burning yellow eyes, "did you think you could hide from me?"

My legs stiffened,  but instead of being afraid I intensified the grip on my spear.

"I'm even glad I'm meeting you again, maybe I'll finally defeat you."

"how sweet is your naive optimism" it continued to speak, with a little clicking of the tongue "Well tell me my dear, what has changed since we met last time?"

" What, what has changed you ask?!" I prevented the anger from consuming my words, for I knew that was all he was waiting for " let me tell you what has changed!"

" I realised my mistakes! And started working on myself!" with each word I took a step closer towards It, and to my surprise it stepped back a little.

Reassured by this change, I straightened my back and began to speak with more confidence.

"You know what has changed? What has changed is that I no longer listen to the opinions of others! I decide who I am and what I do. I stopped blaming others for my actions! I can proudly say that I'm in complete control of my every action! And no one and nothing is going to change that, you first and foremost!!! "

With these last words I threw the spear into the pile of shadows. There was a thud as it collapsed to the floor. The cloud of darkness slowly dispersed, and in that corner at the end of the corridor, I saw an old dusty mirror, in which I saw my Reflection.

I slowly stepped closer, and almost touched the glass as a bone chilling noise  made me turn my head .
