The Regular

All of us dream of a life where everyday is a perfect pleasure day.If the world was to operate by how we visualized through movies and fairy tales, every morning a chirping bird would wake me up from my beauty sleep,a table full of delicious breakfast would be ready by the time I ran through the impecably set walk in closet with all varieties of season's best collection and then all we had to do was to be driven to our own company where our employees would wonder how we manage this large a success.Alas! It's just a fantasy fed to us poor souls who are trying to survive everyday with the hope that something good is gonna come up.
By The way,Hi! I am Amanda.I know the exclamation mark makes me sound excited but frankly I am so dead bored of my life.I am a 23 yr old Archicteture Intern here in New York and like any other student who graduated with the spirit of changing the face of Earth with their creativity ,i am stuck here ,here at the M&D's Archicteture Studio where instead of drafting the skyscrapers i am stuck with making the physical models for clients, which btw is a very very sticky risky job with the superglue and knife involved,i swear when i say there's blood and flesh involved in my work.
I joined M&D about three months back.I frankly was lucky to find myself here,it had quite a repute.I made few friends here that makes surviving easier.Mathew,he is two year senior to me and a permanent here.We became friends when I accidentally threw a pile of his drawings with the discard box and he made me stay up whole night with him to redraft the whole thing.It was probably when we both lost our sanity working that an honest conversation started between us and from then we grew really good friends.My other dear friend which i made in quite normal standard conditions was Anna.Anna was an intern like me,we were placed together in our first assignment and hit off well,short story there.
If there's anything else you need to know about our office is Mrs.Parker,our boss!
She is a 50 yr old woman who can make you bury yourself in a grave that you would need to dig too.Damn that woman is scary,but she just overlooks things here,like a senior architect post.The owners of this firm are a very elite family.Macy and David as goes the M&D, apparently they developed this firm as a continum of Mr.Davids parents legacy who were into construction business.Both of them worked hard on establishing and expanding this firm into prominent places which then they handed to their elder son Mr.Daniel D. Wayne,who I believe is one of the lucky souls to have received this golden platter and grown to become such a success just at the age of 28!His younger brother was my age,23, but he had taken to management studies because of course,the rich have hotels to take care off too.

Anyways,This is who i am,a regular girl with a regular family, regular life,in a not so regular firm but very regular intern job(sometimes i really think if i would just leave  and they would even know i worked here). It's a waste of God's effort that he made be pretty because all that goes waste to a dead limping girl who runs from office to work now everyday for the past three months.
