"Oh look at that, he responded," I sarcastically tell Jules, "told you I shouldn't have texted him. He's still acting weird," I sigh as I chuck my phone onto the bed.
"I mean it was worth the shot," Jules shrugged as she walked out of the bathroom brushing her hair.
"It's been almost a week, Jules. If he's still acting like this then obviously I've done something," I walk into the bathroom to finish my makeup.
"Did he seem pissed off the last time you guys talked?"
"Not really, I don't think so," I reply.
"Well, let's not worry about him today, okay?" she smiles as she comes into the bathroom and stands beside me.
"Mmhm," I hum as I stroke the mascara through my eyelashes.
Once we were ready, we grab our things and walk downstairs.
"Happy birthday my gorgeous girl!" Mum runs over and pulls me into a hug.
"Happy birthday darling," Angie says once I let go of mum. I hug her too then we all go into the kitchen.
"You girls are already dressed?" Mum laughed, "I was expecting you both to come down in your PJ's,".
"Gotta look good for the big eighteen," Jules nudged me with a smile.
I chuckle, "yeah,".
"What's wrong, hun," Angie tucked some of my hair behind my ear.
"Oh, nothing," I smile.
"Vinnie's been ignoring her," Jules confessed.
"Vinnie? Like, famous boy?" Angie asks. Jules nods.
"Oh, don't even worry about him, baby. He's being a boy. Forget about him today. Today he doesn't exist, okay?" Mum gives me a warm smile.
I nod, "yeah, okay," a smile came onto my face.
"So, since you both are ready to go, let's go now?" Mum asks and we nod in response.
