Chapter 1:
“I bet that I can beat you in a spar, Legolas,” Tony said with a grin as he walked past the dining table and sat opposite Clint. The archer smirked and shook his head.
“Oh Tony, you know that I’ll win. But anyway, what are we betting on?” Clint asked with a sly smirk.
“Your pride,” Tony winked as Clint narrowed his eyes in confusion, “If I win, you will have to be my pet for the next two months. This also means that you’ll be the Avengers pet,”
“And if I win, you’ll be my and the Avengers’ pet. Does this mean I can get you to do anything I want?” Clint asked, his smirk reappearing on his face.
“Oh yes. Only if you win, that is. We’ll set up some rules for the whole pet thing, but essentially, you will have to do almost everything we tell you to do,” Tony grinned. “Wanna back out yet?”
“Never,” Clint spat, “Let’s do this. Tomorrow, 2 pm in the afternoon, training room. We’ll spar three times,”
“Don’t be late,” Tony winked as he shoved a spoonful of soup in his mouth. Steve overheard their conversation and rolled his eyes.
“What’s up? What are they arguing about now?” Natasha asked as she saw Steve’s eyes.
“The two are making another one of their stupid bets again. The last time they did this, Tony had to flash a random stranger! That person must have been so traumatised,” Steve shook his head as he popped a piece of roasted chicken into his mouth.
“Actually, that person asked Tony for his autograph, took a picture with him and had sex with him afterwards. So, I think that bet’s consequence backfired,” Bruce said with a straight face while the rest burst out laughing.
“What about the time Clint had to wear a princess gown and strut through Walmart? That was so embarrassing!” Steve recollected as he chuckled.
“Yeah, the staff members kicked us out for being a public nuisance. I think she didn’t realise we were the Avengers,” Clint laughed.
“Well, the rest of you, be prepared to see Clint act like a cat tomorrow, with a collar and leash on him,” Tony smirked cockily while Clint rolled his eyes.
“Pretty sure it’ll be you in that position,” Clint chuckled.
“Oh, we’ll see about that, Bird Brain,” Tony grinned.
