The feeling of the cold wind rushing past her, sending shivers down her spine as she walked. Lifting her hands to clutch onto her arms, she visibly trembled at the coldness of the air. It was mid December, snow littered the streets though it wasn't even up to her feet. Still, she had to admit that the glittering color of the whiteness had her smiling and felt comfort. The sound of heels clicking against the snow littered cobblestone, her pale complexion had turned a soft pink, however her nose and ears were more a shade of red. Taking a turn down the street, she had shoved her nearly numb palms into her pockets. As she let out an exhale, a white cloud puffed from her lips as she moved down the street. Passing building after building, the sight of a familiar store had come into view. It was a bar, she was a waitress. With a heavy sigh, she approached the steps, heels clicking yet again as her hands gently grabbed onto the metallic railing that was frozen to the touch. The sound of a bell overhead could be heard then the sound of footsteps, though these footsteps were not hers. She lifted her head to see a male with cyan hair rushing over to her, "Lyn! Oh wow.. You look cold." The male chuckled in amusement, his blue eyes fit perfectly with his hair, that was usually always what was noticeable at first glance about him. She sighed and shook her head, "I know, I'm a little late, let's hurry up." With that being said, she pushed past the male she seemed to have known for a while before continuing on. Entering the room toward the back, there were multiple areas, the biggest being the cool room for their drinks.
Around the corner was a small space for changing and keeping personal items such as bags and clothing. Most of the workers had their own small lockers, luckily all being locked for privacy reasons. Putting in the combination to her own, she slipped her bag off of her shoulder, brushing off the access snow. Next was her coat, it reached down to her knees in luck. Luck that she didn't have most of her clothes soaked. Her eyes scanned the small locker before pulling out a black apron, moving it around her waist to tie back. The company was thoughtful about keeping their staff somewhat clean when working with making drinks and sometimes foods. Though they mainly worked with drinks seeing as how their bar served wine most of the time. Once tying her apron back and her hair up, The biting warmth of the building had her feeling much better to work, the torturous cold outside had her aching to be back home in her bed, wrapped up in her comfortable blankets. With a turn, she checked the time to see when her shift had started. Precisely five minutes ago. Shaking her head, she moved to step out of the room though was stopped by the male from earlier. "Hey Lyn, could you grab one of the cases of wine, please? Thank you!" He hummed, hurrying out of sight before she could object and argue against it and how he should be getting these items himself. Furrowing her brows, she turned on her heel with a heavy huff and stormed into the cellar area.
