It's no secret that I'm kind of old by now. Once you get this old, birthdays aren't as exciting as they used to be. Plus, the trial is tomorrow. I was planning on spending the day alone in my room, making sure everything was prepared.
It seems I underestimated everyone.
Left and right, they've been coming, wishing me a happy birthday and giving me extravagant gifts. Honestly, I don't know what I did to deserve it all.
This is probably the best birthday I've ever had. I've never had this many people caring about me before, which also makes it kind of overwhelming. I went out and hid in Kaito's room for a while, and he said I should just relax and enjoy it. I think I might.
I'll worry about tomorrow when tomorrow comes. I might not understand everything that's happening today, but I might as well enjoy it.
