Chapter 2: Our Family

The others walked over to the playground to see Lily and Chase playing with each other

"Aww, look at them" Noa cooed

"Yeah, they're getting more cuter each day" Sid agreed

"Indeed. And I can't wait for their first words" Shira replied

"Me neither" Diego agreed

Diego looked over at Kai to see him still soaking wet while drops of water were dripping down his hair

"Hey, what happened to you? Did you finally take a bath" Diego asked as he held in his chuckle

"Very funny" Kai replied as he added

"It was false alarm, it was just a kick"

"That's the fourth false alarm already" Shira replied

"I know, I know" Kai replied

Lily and Chase looked up to see two butterflies sitting on their nose as they cooed quietly

"Oh, Noa, I have a little surprise for you" Kai remembered

"Really?" Noa asked

"Yeah, come with me" Kai replied as he covered her eyes and took her with him

"Ooh, a surprise?" Min thought as he decided to come with them to see it as well

"What do you think what that surprise would be?" Sid asked

"I don't know, maybe they'll show us that later" Brooke replied

"Yeah, but my back still hurts from that cliff" Ryan complained

"Don't worry, as soon as the baby comes, we'll only have to worry about being uncles" Nathan replied

"Why worry? You'll be great uncles" Ellie smiled as Crash and Eddie came over and climbed up to Ellie's back

"And on top of that, we'll be great uncles as well" Crash agreed

Meanwhile, Kai was still leading Noa to the place where the surprise was

"Ooh, can I look now?" Noa grunted impatiently

"Easy, think about the baby" Kai replied gently

"The baby is fine, it's the freaked out daddy I'm worried about" Noa replied with a smile as she removed Kai's hand from her eyes

"Uh, uh, uh. No peeking" Kai said as Noa closed her eyes

"Ta-da! For the little one" Kai cheered as he got out of the way as Noa opened her eyes

In front of the Moon Cove hung a little swing to a tree and there was a seesaw

"Wow" Noa gasped as she walked towards the swing and seesaw as she added while touching the seesaw

"It's... amazing"

She looked inside the cave to see a crib-like  basket for the baby to sleep in

"Oh, Kai" Noa gasped happily

"I made it all myself. Our family" Kai said proudly as he and Noa gazed into each other's eyes and walked off

Min looked at the surprise and he couldn't believe it

"Wow, Kai, that's pretty sick" Min gasped as Kai shrugged

Manny, Ellie, Nathan, Ryan, Crash, Eddie, Sid and Brooke also came over while Diego and Shira stayed with their children

"Oh, my. It's incredible" Brooke gasped

"I didn't know you put so much effort into this" Manny shrugged as Ellie elbowed him

"Nice work, Kai" Sid complemented

"It's still in process, all the sharp edges are not needed here" Kai replied as he removed the sharp icicles

"You're trying to baby-proof nature?" Noa asked with a giggle

"Baby-proof nature? Get out of here" Kai chuckled dryly as Noa sighed

"Kai, this is the world our baby's gonna grow up in, the same world I grew up in. You can't change that" Noa smiled

"Just watch me" Kai smirked

"Alright, Big Daddy" Noa sighed as she rolled her eyes while smiling

"Yeah, Kai, I know what you're talking about" Manny said

"Yeah, he was also that overprotective" Crash agreed

"But that was much more compared to yours" Eddie added

Leah, Victor, Peaches, Julian, Marco, Adira were also at the playground to watch the babies
