Chapter 13: Laughing to Death

"What's going on over there?" Brooke asked

"You wouldn't wanna know" Crash replied as Eddie nodded

"You really wouldn't"

"So, THIS is what happens if you breathe it? Really disturbing" Shira chuckled

"Stop laughing! All of you!" Buck shouted

"Stop laughing! All of you!" Manny mimicked with a high-pitched voice as they all giggled

"What's rule #1?" Ryan mimicked with a high-pitched voice

Buck had a annoyed expression on his face as he stared at the laughing mammals

"They're just laughing, that's not so bad, right?" Brooke asked

"They died laughing!" Buck replied as he pointed into the depths

The girls and the possums looked down as they gasped, they saw skeletons of dinosaurs that had a smiling skull on each of them

"Stop laughing!" Noa yelled, followed by the possum twins

"Yeah! Stop that!"

But they couldn't help but laugh by hearing their high voices

"Uh, guys! That's not really helpful!" Keevah sneered

"Y-you know what's so funny, guys! W-we're trying to save the babies and we're all gonna die!" Min yelled with laughter as everyone laughed with him

"Oh, Min!" Kai laughed

Buck sighed as he rolled his eyes

"Oh, boy. I'm gonna go fix this, just stay here" Buck said as he left

"Where are we supposed to go?" Brooke asked as Keevah slapped her forehead

"This'll end in a disaster" Keevah mumbled

Buck climbed onto the walls, towards the funicular and tried to get it moving

Just then, Buck succeeded and the funicular came speeding while everyone shouted with excitement

"Sometimes I puke in my bed!" Kai yelled, unaware and not knowing what he actually said

"That's nothing, sometimes I puke in your bed!" Min yelled as he and Kai laughed

"This'll be painful, MOVE!" Keevah shouted as everyone got out of the way

Then, the funicular bumped into the boulder that send Manny, Diego, Sid, Nathan, Ryan, Min and Kai falling to the ground

Their laughing eased and they had their normal voices back, they panted as they could catch their breathe again

Kai's smile faded away when he looked up to Noa who had a serious expression on her face

"Uh, how much could you hear?" Kai asked uneasily as his voice had turned back to normal

"Oh, we heard all of it" Noa replied as everyone nodded

Crash and Eddie looked up to the human boys as they too, heard their gas talk

"You what?" Eddie asked as he and Crash laughed while rolling onto the ground

"Yeeeaaahhh, let's never talk about it" Sid grinned as he blushed

Then, Buck came swinging back from the vine and landed in front of the group

"Everyone alright?" Buck asked

"Yeah, we're ok, I think" Sid replied bashfully as Brooke chuckled and kissed her husband

"I think we should continue our way" Manny spoke up

"Fabulous idea, mate. Now, follow me!" Buck announced as everyone followed him

Meanwhile, Morana and the gang were at the edge of the chasm and looked down into the depths

"We're going around it" Morana growled

"That'll take hours!" Cavin whined

"You see another way, dolt?!" Leo growled

"That's enough! We're going around!" Morana ordered as they obeyed and followed her
