Chapter 3: Min and Kai's Old Friend

Deep in the woods, a human girl was wandering around as she carried a spear and cautiously looked around her

"If only I had any idea that there aren't any predators nearby" the girl thought as she continued walking

Back at the playground, Diego and Shira were still playing with their babies while the others were watching

"I can't wait for Noa to give birth to our grandchild" Leah said with excitement in her voice

"Neither do I" Victor replied with a smile

"Julian, when are we going to have our child?" Peaches asked her husband

"I hope soon, baby" Julian smirked

"Don't let your dad hear that, Peaches" Marco chuckled as Adira elbowed him

"What? He really is that overprotective" Marco replied

"Yeah, tell me about it" Diego said

Lily was trying to stand up while struggling

"Guys! Look" Shira gasped happily

"She's trying to stand! You think she can walk?" Peaches asked

"We'll see" Diego replied

Lily's little legs wobbled as she tried to keep her balance, but fell back with a soft thud

"Aww, you'll learn it soon, sweetie" Shira cooed sweetly

Noa, Kai, Manny, Ellie, Nathan, Ryan, Sid, Brooke, Min, Crash and Eddie came walking back

"Guys, you just missed a big moment" Adira said

"Oh, yeah? What is it then?" Nathan asked

"Lily was almost walking" Julian replied

"What?! No way!" Sid gasped in disbelief

"Yeah, really" Shira replied with a chuckle

"Well, I hope they'll learn how to walk soon" Ellie said

Noa felt a kick inside her as she smiled, she grabbed Kai's hand and put it on her belly and he could feel it too

"Ooh, I can't wait!" Kai giggled with excitement as he stroke Noa's belly

Meanwhile, the human girl in the woods heard a commotion coming from 5 miles right next to her

She walked for about 15 minutes and hid behind a tree, she peeked from behind the tree

Only to see the herd having their conversation 8 feet away from the tree

"What?! What kind of animal group is that?!" The girl thought

She didn't saw Min and Kai, until the two mammoths moved away

There she saw the two human boys, she gasped as she recognized them and wiped her eyes before there were even tears

"Min? Kai?! I-it can't be" the girl gasped silently

She accidentally tripped over a small hill behind her and fell down as she yelled on impact

The herd bolted their heads towards the direction of the yelling

"W-w-what was that?!"  Sid stammered

"M-maybe those cave lions are back at it" Brooke stuttered as she stayed close to her husband

Diego and Shira kept Lily and Chase close to them

"It came from behind that tree over there, if one of us goes over there and take a look, then we'll may know what's going on" Noa suggested

"Then I'll go look" Kai said as he picked up a stick and carefully walked towards the tree

"We'll go with you, this is a possum's job!" Crash said confidently as he and Eddie ran towards the tree

But soon they came running back while screaming and climbed onto Ellie's back as they shivered

"Let's see what kind of animal that is" Min said as he and Kai came closer to the tree and looked behind it

They screamed as a girl's scream was also heard
