"Jimin stop. You have to stop!" There was a woman leaning above him in the shower cabin her face troubled, her dark eyes resembling Jungkook's filled with so much worry.
"엄마, I'm so scared, so so scared," he cried out his hands trembling when he was trying to squeeze more shower gel on them, but the bottle was empty, there was some blood rolling down his thighs from his opening from rubbing it so harshly.
"Jimin dry yourself and get dressed," Jungkook's mum handed him a towel, her voice extremely calm, as if she was talking to Jungminie.
Jungminie? Is Jungminie ok? Jimin trembled so much his teeth were clenching against each other when his palms squeezed on that awful long scar at the side of his belly.
Damaged forever, right?
And if this would happen again, he will not survive, his breath rapid almost banging against his chest.
"Jimin, dry yourself, put something on," Jungkook's mum was still crouching in front of him holding the towel.
The bathroom door squealed, rushed soft steps came.
"Dad Jimin! Grandma!" Jungminie's voice lifted all hair on Jimin's body. "Grandma, is dad ok?"
That question bringing back some pieces of sanity, enough for Jimin to grab the towel and cover his blood covered legs, the soaked pajama shirt still sticking to his body.
"Jungminie come, we will dress up and bring dad to a doctor," his mother in law got up to grab his son and lift with a heavy sigh, his vision blurring in a new wave of panic, but he switched the shower stream on to spill the blood off himself fighting against the will to rip some lower parts of his body out to never ever be so afraid again.
"Thanks God, you're here!" His mother fell through the hall when Jungkook stopped in the door heavy hearted.
Some dawn was rising, Haneul's fur wet from dew, the leash still firmly squeezed in his hand, he has been walking for hours until that fury released, but the pain was still there, his heart so broken bleeding by Jimin's words, he was even considering not to return home, yet... Jungminie needed him.
"Is baby Minie ok?" He asked when his mum pointed at the couch were the boy was sleeping underneath one of the blankets nuzzling his cheek to Bunny's belly.
The sight of his son stilling some pain in Jungkook's insides, so he let Haneul loose approaching the couch kneeling down to tug the edge of Jungminie's colorful pajama sleeve between two fingers and play with it.
"We need to talk," his mother's tone was serious bringing glowing lava into his stomach.
"Ok," Jungkook got up following her to the kitchen were she handed him a water glass before taking place across him at the big table.
"So speak," Jungkook drank a sip not daring to look his mother in the eyes.
"I took Jimin to a doctor, he wanted him to stay in the clinic for the night, they will still his attack with some medication. The doctor advised him to start regular therapy but Jimin is stubborn."
Jungkook nodded, what could he tell, that he was the one at fault here.
"It's doctor Namjoon we're talking about," muttered his mother.
"But he's not a psychiatrist."
"I was afraid that if I bring him to one they will lock him up and stuff, and doctor Namjoon knows your whole story, Jimin has trust in him. He has called his colleague, a great psychiatrist over immediately."
Jungkook nodded again, drank more water watching the table top rather than his mother's face.
"You know that when his symptoms take over he's not really himself, he has no control over it."
"Mum..."
"I know how much you're hurting, but he needs you, maybe more than ever. You guys have been through so much, yet you're still here together."
There were a few sudden tears leaving his eyes his mother caressed off.
"Mum... he hates me."
"Come on, you know he loves you as much as you love him."
"No, he... I have ruined his life."
"Jungkook don't think like that."
"He has said it straight into my face last night. I... he doesn't trust me, not enough to be fully with me, to be comfortably physical. I'm not good enough for him, not good enough to be trusted," his fists clenched.
"Give him time."
"How much more time!" He yelled hitting the table top. "I'm only a human, not some fucking saint! I can't anymore! I did everything, damn everything for him and Jungminie and he still has the guts to say I ruined his life! How? Tell me how can he say that?"
"Jungkook..." his mother shook her head in a troubled way. "Go to take a rest and let me know who should pick Jimin up from the clinic at 11 am."
"Ok... mum, thank you, you... you're really an angel," he caressed over her wrinkled palm. Since dad died they were always there for each other and it was no different now. He could always count on her.
"I just want you to be happy," she whispered.
He nodded holding her hand for a while before getting up walking through the house towards his bedroom and their private bathroom behind it, his moves automatic when he was undressing quickly to freeze at the sight of a blood covered towel lying in the sink.Thank you so much for your feedback. What do you think about the chapter? About Jungkook's mum trying to help them and Jungkook's struggles? What will happen to Jikook's relationship now?
