"Whatever you see here don't judge me, ok?"
The rain outside was slowly turning into snow, the evening dark when Jimin pulled the doors of the dance studio he was working in open. It was located a bit outside the city center, but had an image of a decent dance school.
After passing ballet school audition I won't need to work here anymore, he thought grabbing the key to his classroom.
Since meeting Jungkook in the club they have been hanging out every day for the past month, so Jimin gained enough trust into the alpha to show him his work place.
"Why would I ever judge you?" Jungkook shook his head following him down the corridor when Jimin took a loud breath in before unlocking the door and pushing it open to reveal that old production hall changed into a space for dancers, with graffiti filled walls, the old mirrors along one wall and... the seventeen poles installed in the middle.
Jungkook walked in stopping to observe his surroundings when Jimin's skin filled with goosebumps.
"So you're working here?"
"I'm teaching pole dancing, but I have never been in a strip club or anything like that. Don't think bad about me. It's just, they pay well for teaching that type of dance," he was talking barely able to catch proper breaths.
"Cool," Jungkook came more into the room to glide his fingers along one of the poles.
"I've said please don't judge."
"I'm not," those impressive doe eyes landed on him raising butterflies.
"I really don't work as a stripper, I swear I'm just teaching here..."
"Jimin," Jungkook chuckled. "I would never come to the thought you could work in a strip club, you're way too pure for it."
Jimin blinked unable to believe what he has just heard.
"Um... yes... that adds up I guess."
They burst out into laughter and he saw Jungkook leaning against the pole.
"So will you show me how you dance on that," there was some hidden fire in his eyes raising the temperature in Jimin's body to a thousand degrees.
"Come on! I would be too embarrassed."
"Why, it's art, like your ballet dance," Jungkook was speaking calmly.
Last night when they were sitting in a restaurant eating late dinner Jungkook has shown him the videos he records for his university projects.
"Can I record you dancing?" He had asked and Jimin kind of agreed to be his model for the next assignment.
Maybe he also should be brave, show all sides of his dance, not just the good boy one his parents and teachers wanted to see. Of course ballet was his life since the age of three, but pole dancing was giving him freedom and strength to express all the things he had until now been bottling up inside, straight A- grader, parents' boy, teachers' fave, competition and scholarship winner, ballet academy ace. Yes, it felt like a golden cage sometimes, too small to find enough room to breath in fully inside it.
