1. Stop putting trigger warning LGBTQ+
It doesn't require one. LGBTQ+ existing is not something that should make people uncomfortable, stop pandering to bigots.
2. LGBTQ+ people are more than their sexuality or gender. So when writing a LGBTQ+ character remember this.

• do they have any hobbies?

3. LGBTQ+ characters work in all genres I know I shouldn't need to say yet I do
4. Don't fetishize gay people or their relationships.
