1. If you are not Jewish, Hebrew is not your language to use in fantasy books. It is not some quirky mythological language. The same applies to using Arabic or Amharic.
1.5 Use Your own language or Esperanto (it has no cultural connection to anyone)
2. World Building. It's important to know what type of world you want. Keep notes even if the stuff never makes it into the novel it will help guide you when writing.
3. Don't use other people pain as some sort of magical fairytale suffering *looks at j k Rowling with magical Nazis and a magical version of the Holocaust and lets not forget house elves and slavery*
4. Be creative. Fantasy is one of the few genres where if you are only limited by your imagination.
