Final – Reactions

Aizawa had taken the class to the beach to do community service. Afterall, being a hero isn't just fighting villains, heroes help and protect the community, including the environment.

"Ew! I got seaweed in my shoe!"

"Uh... We eat that"

"Not raw!"

Aizawa sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. This was had been a long day. A very long day.

Thankfully, most of the students were quiet. Uncannily so. Since the death of his student, their classmate, most of the teens had become rather quiet. It was the students who had been especially loud that had remained talkative. Aizawa could see past that, he could see the times that they'd see something that reminded them and their smiles would become fake.

It was sad, really. Aizawa had never imagined this happening to his class. It was just like before, a complete repeat. Except this time, he was the teacher. He had been in agreement with Nezu's decision to look for the student instead of pay. He should have disagreed, he should've made them take the safer route and do both. At the very least, they should've found a way to stall. It was partly his fault. As the guardian of the class, the one in charge, he shouldn't have let the kid be taken in the first place.

But that aside, he was trying to move the class and himself forward. He was taking the time and doubling back to make sure they knew what to do if it were them in that situation, both as the captive and the hero in charge. He taught them how even if they weren't in charge of the decision, they had an input, an opinion and a way to add another point of view that might change the  outcome.

He hoped it's serve to fix the problem and prevent it from happening again.

"Doesn't that look like Bakugou? Kero" Asui pointed out. The class followed her finger to a group they'd overlooked, like the rest of the families around. Midoriya gasped.

"That's uncle too! So they're alive..."

"We should go talk to them! It's not right to be with villains like that!" Ochako said, about to march over to them.

Aizawa stopped her, holding out his arm to block her. "There's nothing you can do. It's obvious that he's happy there and nothing you guys say will change that"

"But– But they're villains!" Mineta exclaimed, as if the statement changed everything.

"And we're heroes. Everyone has a family. If you couldn't realize that then you should just drop out. We're all human" Aizawa continued, annoyed at the lack of intelligence.

"Mr. Aizawa, what if he's giving out information?" Iida, ever the stickler, asked.

"He's a traitor if he's doing that! We should just arrest all of them right now"

Before Aizawa could say anything, a sharp smack rang through the air. Yaoyorozu held her cheek.

Sero had a dark look. "Don't you ever say that. If Bakugou is happy with them, then leave them. Don't even think like that. He's not a traitor"

"Bakubro has high standards, he wouldn't give any information out even if he decided to be a villain" Kirishima affirmed.

"I don't care who it is. If I catch anyone saying he's a traitor... I'll personally melt you to nothing, hero or not" Ashido said, a frown cutting through her usually cheery face.

"As long as he's happy, you'll leave him alone. He wasn't that happy with us" Kaminari added.

Aizawa nodded to himself, recalling the conversation he'd had with the disguised villain. It was probably Bakugou. In the conversation, the murder of the teen never confirmed. The teen was safe now.

He scanned the class. It had been unanimously decided to leave the ash blonde as he was to avoid Bakugou's friends' threats being carried out. He turned to watch his past student with the League.

Bakugou wore a wide smile that radiated happiness. The teen was running through the edge of the water with a severed hand in his grasp. The league's leader himself ran after the teen, yelling obscenities. One of the members, Spinner probably, was swimming further out with who he could recognize as Magne. The towel caped man, Compress, was cheering for Bakugou, yelling that he was 'wide open'. Making a sandcastle were two members, Toga, twice, and... Dabi? The one remaining was huddled under an umbrella, a popsicle in hand.

Aizawa smiled to himself. The teen looked a lot better than when he was with Yuuei. He'd leave them; he'd keep their secret. After all, weren't heroes supposed to keep others safe?
