🎃 Hey, it's my favorite holiday 👻
• ○ Halloween Special ○ •
Katsuki woke up early; very, very early. Today was Halloween and he had plans. Many plans.
He knew for a fact that he'd slip later, in fact, he was looking forward to making it the best Halloween for his younger self he possibly could. Which includes decorating the whole base. Hence why he woke up this early. Most of the members were awake but they stayed in their rooms for a bit to relax and ready themselves.
Perfect for his job.
Kurogiri was always awake, Katsuki was pretty sure the mist-man didn't sleep. And while he would've preferred that no one was around so he could surprise them, Kurogiri could help him reach high places.
He was annoyed about how short he was compared to insanely tall population. He'd looked it up, he would've been considered average height in the time before quirks.
That was besides the point.
Katsuki held a decent sized bin of decorations he'd bought, created, and fixed. Lights, stickers, webbing, ghosts, the whole nine yards.
He, as a kind person, didn't include spiders despite how much he wanted to. Spinner was terrified of them. Katsuki really wanted to put spiders. If he did, though, he'd make an enemy of the man.
"Oh, Bakugou. Why are you awake?" Kurogiri welcomed him.
"I'm decorating" He returned.
"I see. Would you like help?"
Katsuki simply nodded and placed his bin on the countertop. Climbing up to kneel on a stool, Katsuki dug through the bin. He placed things on the counter as he went through, organizing the decorations for easy grabbing. Kurogiri leant up on the counter, watching him with interest.
Plastic bats, origami pumpkins that took way too long to make, paper ghosts, three packages of spider webbing, butterflies, tiny plastic skeletons. He had plenty of things.
His favorite decoration was there skeletons. On the other hand, he also liked the ghosts. He'd cut them out and left them for his younger side to colour. As it turned out, he was good at colouring even at young ages.
He typically regressed between four and six. He'd never gone younger but a handful of times he'd breached six to the awkward age of ten. Not much further from his current age, but his attitude was widely different at that age. His hatred of certain things could be properly verbalized. And boy was younger him vocal about it.
Ten year old him would spew curses towards heroes since they abandoned him. Multiple times his younger self had directed this hatred towards specific heroes, going as far to make plans to kill them.
Younger him's bloodthirsty disposition was terrifying.
But that was besides the point. He fit in here, just like how this ghost went perfect on this window. From outside, it would become a silhouette on the frosted glass. Cute.
He had Kurogiri hang the bats around while he distributed the skeletons. He had them siting innocently in booths, dangling their legends off the countertops, watching from above the alcohol racks. He couldn't wait for everyone to see.
They stretched the webbing and tacked it up in some of the corners, up near the ceiling. Katsuki had made sure to pluck out the plastic spiders from it first.
This was going to be so cool.

Tomura woke, as usual, at the normal time of three am. So yeah, he was at his typical level of tired. Perhaps he should start going to sleep before twelve.
Then again, he napped a lot towards lunch so it equaled out enough to not screw his brain over. Good enough. So if he was asked if he was tired, he'd say he kinda was.
It was close to eight in the morning now. His gaming controller lay in his palms, perfectly fitting. Games were his life, they held his soul. The door opened and Tomura looked over. Dabi stood there.
"Hey, You're gonna want to come see this"
Tomura took one second to scan the man's face before logging out of the game and walking out of his room to follow his boyfriend close behind. The bar looked like Halloween had exploded into the room. Webs, ghosts, skeletons, the whole nine yards.
The kid sat at the counter, a infectious smile across his face as he swung his legs and stuffed bites of an omelette into his mouth. Kurogiri stood on the other side of the counter, eyes curved into a gentle look as he gestured at things and talked.
Tomura took the moment to really observe the bar. Fake spider webs were tacked up on the ceilings, walls, and the undersides of a few tables. in the few windows they had, little ghosts sat in, the papers innocently watching the place. He could make out the colourings of it done by the kid in his younger headspace. No matter the age, Bakugou was some sort of prodigy.
"Shiggy! Happy Halloween!"
Tomura could help but smile as he fixed Father's position. "Happy Halloween"
Dabi went and pinched the kids cheek, "It looks good in here. We can have a party"
Despite the kid swatting at the man's hand, he cheered, animatedly talking about the party. Kurogiri took the moment to move and speak privately with Tomura.
"He woke up very early to decorate. He's really excited. We have to make sure today goes as he planned it would"
"Obviously" This was going to be the best day. Tomura was make sure of that. No matter what it took.
