Your light and my shadow: a SoTam story

I'm glad your here... -Tam POV

I blinked awake on a flower-filled carpet near a large canopy bed. I looked around confused. Where was I? A blond haired girl rose from the bed and looked at me. She smiled, "Tam your awake!" I sat up completely and inhaled deeply , wincing at the pain in my chest. "Yeah but why..." I stopped remembering last night. "Right. That's the second time I punched myself in the stomach." I laughed then coughed, then fell over In pain. Everything hurt. "Tam are you okay!? TAM!" I couldn't get up. It hurt. "Sophie it's fine I just..." I gasped and collapsed again. Grady walked in right then holding a melder but I didn't care. I just wanted the pain to stop! "Grady call Elwin!" Sophie shouted. For once Grady didn't hesitate. He pulled out his imparter and hailed Elwin. I looked at Sophie and was able to tell her that it wasn't Grady's fault before I fell over again. I thought, I'm glad she's here, before it went black... again.

When I awoke (again) I was in Sophie's bed. I groaned. I hesitated, then slowly rose. It didn't kill me, yet. I looked around for Sophie then saw her, her blond hair fanned out and glittered in the early morning sunshine. She must have fallen asleep at her desk so I could have the bed. I opened my mouth to tell her good morning but as soon as my lips parted Grady burst in and stood in front of the now awake Sophie Foster. He pointed a melded at my chest, "What did you want from my daughter! I saw you standing outside her window, acting all innocent. What did you want!?" I was shook. "I..I j-just wan-wanted to comfort her a-a-after what h-happened w-w-w-with Fitz!" I held up my hand and pinned my back to the bed's backboard. If I died no one could look after Linh when she awoke. "That's it?" Grady glared so hard I was surprised I wasn't dead yet. Sophie, I thought. " Oh a-and to g-g-give her thissssss..." I held the s so that I could look in my cape pocket. There. I held it up, it was a red and gold rose pendant with a rose-gold chain and eight beads. One teal, one ice blue, one silver blue, one periwinkle blue, one ocean blue, one pink-blue, one soft brown and one that held a Panakes blossom suspended inside.

Sophie gasped and named off each one. (In order) Fitz, Keefe, Tam, Dex, Linh, Biana, Me, and Calla... she smiled at me and I blushed. "Oh my gnome thank you Tam, I love you!!!" I blushed, Sophie blushed, Grady glared even harder. "I meant I loved the gift...oh my gnome... ummm I just need to go over there..." I nodded like I knew what she meant. As soon as she left Grady grabbed my shirt collar. "I don't care if your hurt boy, OUT!" He was about to throw (yes throw) me out the window when Sophie burst in and pulled me to her and lightlept away with me pinned to her side. When she reached Solreef, I let go and stepped towards the door. Then turned around "Sophie..." I didn't get to finish. She reached up and kissed me. I felt lighter than ever before and for once since Allvature felt truly happy. "I'm glad your here." I whispered, then stepped through the door. I was face to face with Grady Ruewen, and he had seen everything.

Cliff hanger! I know this sounds so dumb but like, I thought NO ONE would read this and I have 7 views! I AM worried these stories are bad cause no one's leaving comments... so let me know if I'm should keep writing or remove these stories all together. Tell please I wouldn't be offended!Lol 😉
