"Are you certain you don't want to grab a bite before we get there?" Isabel asked for the third time, almost hoping I would change my mind.

Hospital food wasn't anything fancy, but it was the most consistent I've ever eaten. And while it wasn't like me to turn down a tempting offer of free food, clenched stomach and dizziness wouldn't allow anything to move past my throat.

Daisy glanced at me from the driver's seat but hasn't said a word. We were currently on our way to the institution. I've been finally admitted out of the hospital, however didn't expect to be so sad about it.

The institution wasn't bad. I've been there a good couple of times, yet the uneasiness related to moving to a different place, especially somewhere with so many people hanging around was making me nervous, and nauseous.

Somewhere deep inside I wished to remain at the hospital. Ironically it was the safest I've ever felt. With Amira coming by every day and others visiting, I just knew it was about to change.

First, we would see each other a few times a week, then just once for a quick check-up, and before I knew it, I would be left alone.

Again.

"Alright, we are here." Isabel's voice was surprisingly shaky.

Raising my sight from the car's floor mat, I frowned confused. Wherever we were, this wasn't the institution's driveway.

"What is this?" I asked confused, with many questions rushing through my head.

Both Daisy and Isabel turned around before speaking up.

"Okay, me and my lovely wife here," Daisy pointed at the blonde. "Were talking... and um, we were wondering, if maybe you would prefer perhaps only if you like, to stay with us for the time being."

Isabel playfully rolled her eyes at her wife's unsure explanation. "We would like to offer you a home," she said shortly. "It was more of a last-minute decision, Mark is still waiting at the institution so if you rather go there, I will drive you right away. However, we would love to have you with us, especially since we got offered a more stable and permanent job regarding Andrew's case, which means we can move back here."

"I asked him to," Daisy added, intensely connecting with my eyes. "I want to be here for you, and as your self-proclaimed sister I need to make sure you won't get yourself into any trouble."

"Excuse me-" I uttered and dashed out of the car, not making it too far before throwing up.

"Gosh, Mars! Are you okay, what's wrong?" Isabel panicked, meanwhile Daisy commented unnecessarily. "I mean she threw up on our parking spot, we can't let her go now, right?" Earning a nudge to her shoulder she whined, "Ouch."

"I..I'm fine, it's just a lot. Sorry," I mumbled accepting the tissue from Isabel and wiping my wet lips.

Isabel gently moved the hair out of my face and tied them up into a low ponytail.

"It's okay sweetheart, you can think about it. There's no rush..." but something has told me there was.

These two offered me their home, so casually and openly I wasn't sure how to react. What do you even say to such a thing? Would a simple yes be enough? No... It didn't seem enough.

Taking a deep breath, I hastily walked up to Daisy and embraced her into an awkward hug, because let's be honest, I had no idea how to do it right. But maybe I didn't have to, maybe it didn't matter, because she quickly returned the gesture and we both allowed this moment to forever imprint itself on our hearts.

"Thank you," I whispered into her jacket. "Thank you," I repeated pathetically, unsure of how to explain and express my gratitude.

"Come on girls, help me take it upstairs."
